Great topic! What about footstraps. Is that a half rear footstrap on the Apple Tree board? And related: how to setup footstraps safely if your gonna jump a lot? Tighter or loose footstraps. I read somewhere it's better to have footstraps narrow and high.
For sure AV17Nash, I prefer a NSI long strap in the front and foot hook in the back. It's just what works best for me. This allows me more flexibility on foot placement and easy exit during falls. Narrow straps, I find them hard to get out of in foiling falls and they lack any adjustment in stance placement or foot angle. - Tucker
Hi guys. I have these half straps as well. They’re from slingshot. Since I got hooked in normal ones and my ankle hurts since then (6 Months now!) I think the way tucker does it is great. Full on the front and a half strap on the back foot. 👌🤙🏼
@@MACkiteboarding well. Seems like I learned it the hard way. Such a mast is a horrible lever in case you’ve been slipping too much forward into your straps 😖
@@MACkiteboarding / Tucker, thanks for sharing your experience with straps. I just ordered the half straps myself to find out if it works for me. The thing I'm wondering if you don't slip out when you have a big jump? I will find out soon myself but it's good to be aware of if that can happen. Thanks!

@@wingfoilingsimssee Stoked you find it useful too. Not too many riders out there doing it that way yet. - TUcker
