'Domino Dancing' was originally released by Pet Shop Boys in 1988. The song was produced by Lewis A. Martinée and recorded sometime between 1987 to 1988 in his studio in Miami, resulting in a considerably large number of studio musicians for a Pet Shop Boys song being featured on it. In my cover version there are no acoustic instruments (unfortunately), but I think some of the software synths and samples that I've used actually were used in the original (of course back then they only had ''the real stuff''...). The only thing that is not from my own digital library is the "All day, all day" backing vocals which comes from the original song. All the other sounds are from my software synths or samples used in Kontakt. I recorded on cassette on dad's old YAMAHA KX-500 to get a more analog and genuine sound. Enjoy!

Absolutely loved the cover AND the video!! The cassette tape and deck were just brilliant! As a teenager back in the 80's, I very muched listening to music whilst watching the blinking VU and spectrum analyser meters. Sigh... The good ol' 80's! Laugh out loud.

Wonderful Job in fact the samples of acoustics parts are really good (i love the track with the latin guitar sample) and it was a nice move incorporated the original chorus "all day" in the sweet Neil´s voice!.....watching in the video the tape rolling - yamaha kx 500 track recorder- , i just lose my mind!.. what a strong way to get a beautiful memories!

Completely agree. You could try the free Dexed VST (DX7 clone) and then look for the Lately Bass patch. That comes really close. But overall great job!

You're right, but I just used one or maybe two drum-sounds from it! Some samples sounds pretty much the same no matter which drum-machine you use! ;)
