I love how they had no idea what a dybbuk box was. 1st thing is that they aren't supposed to be opened, the cloth with the rune was supposed to keep the spirit inside. 2nd, there is a spirit (or supposed to be, you kinda let it roam now) in the item that is kept within the cloth. 3rd, congratulations, one of you is haunted now. 4th, you could have talked to the spirit held within the doll via Ouija board/spirit box/medium. The concept of the Dybbuk Box is a hoax. They aren't real. It's an invention of Kevin Mannis for an eBay listing he had made. The Dybbuk is a demon of Jewish folklore, but a Dybbuk Box is never mentioned in Jewish folklore. There are no mentions of them before Kevin fabricated the story, but it has since been ripped off by many others and a movie was even made stealing the concept from his original eBay listing.
Typically dybukk boxes are specifically for evil, negative spirits or demons, most commonly demons or j rlly angry destructive spirits, but it's not a good idea to open them at all, they will most likely attach to the person or their home, every dybukk box has been made by someone to trap something, and rlly the only time ppl wanna trap something is bc it's either causing harm or just simply chaos
