Bones of the foot include the tarsus, metatarsus and phalanges
Seven bones of the tarsus:
Calcaneus: largest, strongest bone of the tarsus
Talus
Navicular: flattened, boat shaped bone
Cuboid: cuboid tuberosity
Three cuneiforms (medial, intermediate, lateral)
Metatarsus
Five metatarsals
Connect tarsus to phalanges
Phalanges
Toe 1 has two phalanges (proximal,distal)
Toe 2-5 have three phalanges (proximal, middle, distal)
