Long-lost serial THE VOICE FROM THE SKY Ch1 R2 Excerpt

Ben Wilson released his final serial, THE VOICE FROM THE SKY, the first to have an audio track with full dialogue, in 1930. It starred his longtime leading lady Neva Gerber and it was the final serial for both. Hal Taliaferro played the hero, as "Wally Wales."
Release was very limited, with the primitive sound system being actually taken with the film from theater to theater, one each month, until Wilson's death later in the year. The original film was sold to a man who during the depression sold admission to a tent for 10c for kids to view films. Most of the serial has decomposed since then but the Serial Squadron now has the remaining reels and has created a book based on the original script and audio recreation of the rest of the serial.
