When trains finish letting passengers off, do they switch tracks past the north end of the station?

At University Station the train sits for like 10-15 minutes to load then go back towards Erie Canal harbor

@@elirosen1391next crossover is right before Humboldt/hospital I think. But there is a turnout at Lasalle Station for an extension as well, but I've never been able to see it
