I upgraded from 12 pro max to 13 pro max sierra blue OMG I have zero regrets. The Cameras, the display, and the battery life are the BEST in my opinion. The point is I love this Phone!.
I feel a deeper/greater divide between the standard and pro smartphones would lead to people accusing Apple of paywalling their best features to force you into buying a pro. It almost needs to be same-same but different like vehicle trim levels.
The main reason for me to go Pro is it lasts longer than the normal 13. I always swap phones after 3+ years, and I can be sure with iPhones that the pro model will be pretty smooth experience even then. That can’t be necessarily said for the non-pro model.
This was my first iPhone and with this purchase I've sealed myself completely into the amazing walled gardens of Apple. It all started with the M1 mac due to its amazing battery life and overall performance. Compact phones are the need of the hours and 13 pro DELIVERS- My one plus 8 pro literally gave me hand fatigue and I've large hands, mind you. Android truly sucks overall- the convenience/freedom/flexibility it offers is rather superficial. Apple may be limited in certain ways but the note worthy features it offers actually make a difference in the quality of your life. It's remarkably reliable overall.
I think my 13 pro will age gracefully with time. It’s quite likely you won’t see much of a difference between the 13 and the next few pro models for the next few years.
@@msnu1455 I mean Dyanamic Island, Crash Detection, Satellite thingy, Camera imrpovement (not leaps and bounds like from 12 series to 13 series) it doesn''t seem to be a drastic improvement. I’m enjoying my iPhone 13 Pro Max 256 GB Pine Green (still have the regular 1Phone 13 Pro 256 GB in white/silver as well). I also carry the Galaxy S 22 Ultra as a spare. I don’t regret switching my primary functions to iPhone. I may also be alone in this, but I’ve recently started using Apple Maps the last few months and I’m honestly surprised that I’m enjoying it more than google maps. Both iOS and Android have their strengths and weaknesses, but for me iOS fits better into my workflow and lifestyle overall.
I noticed the improvement with Apple Maps as well. I tried the s22 ultra for a month and came back to my iPhone 13 mini lol. The s22 ultra was amazing but the iPhone just worked better. Not sure how else to explain it.
I take all phones with a grain of salt at the end of the day. The last phone I had was the 12 that I got for free through a T-Mobile trade in and switch deal but then the phone ended up dying recently. I went with the 13 pro mainly because I don't plan on getting another for as long as I can make it. I got the pro so all 3 lenses will give the most versatility throughout time, hopefully more processing will help it last longer, and hopefully a larger battery will help it last a bit more over more time. With applecare, I plan on replacing the battery when it slows, if the screen breaks I've never gotten a whole new device instead of replacing the screen (the last screen I broke was my XS 2 years ago and I replaced the screen myself) but I say everyone should just get what they get for them. Get what you like the most, can afford the most and will be most useful for yourself cuz one great aspect of technology is the versatility and personalisation options

I have always wondered what exactly makes an iPhone a “Pro” besides the camera. I do have the iPhone 13 pro max and compared to my 12 it does feel more responsive and doesn’t get as warm and as often as my 12 but I assumed it is because it has more RAM, other than that, what else is there?
Can we talk about how I’m on my second replacement from apple and there’s just problems with the iPhone 13 pro max (camera, microphones, display flickering) list goes on…. Im fighting with them for them to do something about it!
@@Andy1341000 first one had the flickering of the green tint on display and then it ended by saying no SIM card indefinitely so they swapped it, now this one has a hard time with microphones and camera goes black or very very low quality and same issue with the display, the display is a common problem even from the iPhone 12 and slot of my friends have the same issue
Yeah it's definitely just bad luck on your part. It's not like my Pixel 6 Pro which a majority of users experience bugs. I agree with the comment above, just get a replacement.
Putting the bang average photography to one side (poor HDR, crushed shadows, lack of detail) the best thing is the perfect form factor, but is that worth the dollar?

Same here..... I am an S22 Ultra user who almost got an iPhone 13 Pro because of out of this world ADs from Apple. But I am very happy with the Samsung S22U.
@@NetITGeeks My ONLY issue with the S22 Ultra is the battery. I wish it was a tiny bit better, but there's a lot of power in this phone, and I have it on 120 Hz. So it's fine.
Does the phone heat up while using the camera for photos and videos?
no
I upgraded from 12 pro max to 13 pro max sierra blue OMG I have zero regrets. The Cameras, the display, and the battery life are the BEST in my opinion.
The point is I love this Phone!.
I like pro because promotion display, it s a big difference in the user experience
I think I need to upgrade my phone now. I still have an iPhone SE from 2016 and as much as I want a 13 I think I’ll hold on for the 14
I feel a deeper/greater divide between the standard and pro smartphones would lead to people accusing Apple of paywalling their best features to force you into buying a pro. It almost needs to be same-same but different like vehicle trim levels.
Can't even use emulator or open download files on iphone nor can install apk out of store
im happy with my 11 pro max ,lets see if the 14 pro max brings aod or usb c...
I love my iphone 13 pro max it does everything i need, last for a day and good screen for media
Thank you Jaime. Great video. The display is too small for me. I want the 14 Pro Max in Purple. 💜
Apple might bring back purple to iPhone 14 series
What music is used here?
The main reason for me to go Pro is it lasts longer than the normal 13. I always swap phones after 3+ years, and I can be sure with iPhones that the pro model will be pretty smooth experience even then. That can’t be necessarily said for the non-pro model.
Only Jaime looks cool wearing two smartwatches at the same time, you have to give him that.
I will wait for the 15 just to get a good deal on 12pm or 13 pro...but I don't know what to choose,13pm will still be too expensive
Damn nice soundtrack, what’s the name?
Patiently waiting for the 14 pro max
And the king of notch 🔥🔥👍🏼👍🏼
I think my 13 pro will age gracefully with time. It’s quite likely you won’t see much of a difference between the 13 and the next few pro models for the next few years.
Lmao this did not age well
@@msnu1455 I mean Dyanamic Island, Crash Detection, Satellite thingy, Camera imrpovement (not leaps and bounds like from 12 series to 13 series) it doesn''t seem to be a drastic improvement. OP is correct. Well if one has got money at their disposal then by all means they can purchase. But for people like me I think I will hold on to my 13PM for a long time. I went from XR to 13PM so that should tell you XD
I’m interested in battery life so this time I’ll go for the 14 pro max
8:08 Is that picture by chance from a hiking trail in westlake village off of hillcrest, or off of decker canyon, such as backbone trail? If so then I know these hiking trails. XD
This was actually Orange County. Just don’t remember the name of the trail
Great vid as usual.
The million$ question is would you purchase the iPhone14 Max or the iPhone14 Pro Max?
I know. I know. Wait for the video to come out 🤣
🤣🤣 yes
Nice video
Only phone "reviewers" don't put a case on their phones
I hope the 14 pro is as good as the 13 pro that Jaime described. I love my iPhone XS and it has been a trooper. I did try the iPhone 13 for a few days and the changes to me were apparent but I wasn’t ready to give up the XS. We will see what the 14 brings this fall :)
I had the 12 pro max and always overheated and screen dimmed when gaming , been using the galaxy s22 plus and never throttles or dims
the design lmao
Hi , please review iPhone 13 and 13 mini
Can we talk about how I’m on my second replacement from apple and there’s just problems with the iPhone 13 pro max (camera, microphones, display flickering) list goes on…. Im fighting with them for them to do something about it!
Sounds like just some bad luck to me and it happens. Keep pushing and you should get a solid replacement device.
It’s you.
@@davidjacobs6244 it’s me? Care to explain?
@@Andy1341000 first one had the flickering of the green tint on display and then it ended by saying no SIM card indefinitely so they swapped it, now this one has a hard time with microphones and camera goes black or very very low quality and same issue with the display, the display is a common problem even from the iPhone 12 and slot of my friends have the same issue
Yeah it's definitely just bad luck on your part. It's not like my Pixel 6 Pro which a majority of users experience bugs. I agree with the comment above, just get a replacement.
To be honest, I debated this for a few days before the pre order. 120 Hz sold me. Otherwise would’ve been more than happy with the 13.
space the final fronter to Boldy phone were no one went before
Jaime loves this phone so much that 9 months later iJaime Jr was born.
Wow.. I’m starting to feel better about my dad jokes 👀🤣
@@Pocketnow I give you permission to steal this one. It's that good!
Waiting for mine in the mail 👀
100%
But what we are really waiting to see
Is the iPhone 14 Pro models
Sir, you are correct, I got the pro because of the three cameras look cool 😎
Waiting for 14. My first IPhone.
Putting the bang average photography to one side (poor HDR, crushed shadows, lack of detail) the best thing is the perfect form factor, but is that worth the dollar?
True talk 👍
I didn't pony up for the extra storage on this model because I could tell from the get-go that the video mode advertised was a gimmick. All in all, the phone is really good though.
