Crystal lake loop, Ep-1. Hill removal. RC road construction.

So we are getting back to work on changing the road (Waterloo loop). We are relocating material to bring the roads elevation up higher in the technical corner to make the transition easier without getting the rigs stuck all the time.

Have the same excavator, mine is getting beat up from all the years of use. Good machine, but turn table has to much play i find. Looked like a nice day for to fix the road. Cool video, want to see more.

Yeah I have yet to find a good fix for that slop in the slew. It is a decent machine though, especially for the price.

@@digitrc I fixed mine I replaced it with a brushless setup and a proper hardened steel pinion it uses a 32p 1 mod pinion I forgot the tooth count 16 maybe

@@awesomusmaximus3766 yeah I replace the pinion. I can’t keep the secret tight. My next step is to use red loctite on it. That might fix it.
