- In the Old Testament, the first grain was given to God at the temple so that the crops were blessed. What you do with your firstfruits sanctifies the rest of the fruit. First is preceding all others in time and in order of importance. When you tithe, you give the firstfruits of your labor to God. Only then can He bless you.
My church needs a pastor. We have a preacher but not enough.we we're about 100 before COVID but now not over 50 on Sunday or ,30 on Wednesday nite!!! Pray God will send us a Pastor!!?
Please pray for my husband he got tested covid 19 and he's in bed right now, we have faith that our lord will heal us 🙏

The point Pastor Hagee makes at the beginning of this sermon about the disciples being rebuked for wanting to call down fire, this point was proven to me. In the morning, I sit on my front porch praying, this particular morning I could strongly feel the presence of the Holy Spirit. I looked up at my neighbors homemade camper (so big and ugly), and I foolishly prayed for God to destroy it. A great wind came up and brought down half of my huge tree right on top of my fence!!!!!!!
We are brothers and sisters in the family of God, dear one. Christ loves us under all circumstances, and, as we repent, He restores us. We love you too.

@@patriciamariemitchel Thank you, at the time I was mortified, embarrassed, and ashamed. The rest of the story: The young man that built the ugly camper came over the next morning and sawed in pieces the fallen tree parts. I got to know him and hired him to help me. In less than two months, he moved and the camper got dismantled. God amazes me!!!

Jesus I love you. You give me the courage to keep going. So I’m patiently waiting for you to take me home. Being a single mother isn’t easy. I’m overwhelmed because both of my children are autistic. I’m struggling trying to support them and myself because like so many others. I lost my job as a social worker at Forsyth hospital because I declined the vaccine. I declined because of my pre existing health condition lupus and heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption. I wish I could go back to the hospital but the mandate is still in place for hospitals that participate in Medicare and Medicaid. I’m waitressing and I’m so thankful to be working again, but I’m not making nearly enough to make ends meet. But God continues to help me. I get harassed and called names for simply asking for prayers, but prayers are all we need and when you’re a real christian people will always crucify you. Thankfully God gives me strength to keep going. I have faith God will provide. He HAS THIS FAR. WITH GOD ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE! Please pray for me and my children.

Where is tithing taught in the New Testament?
There is no scripture whatsoever in the New Testament asking Christians to tithe. When Jesus once referred to the practice, he was talking about Pharisees who were still under the Law of Moses and not about New Testament believers.
And show me In the Bible where he said not to tithe .

This sermon is an example of what is said in Hebrews chapter 6 and 10 about falling back to the old covenant ways of sacrificing and therefore crucifying Jesus once again. He is only repeating his friend Robert Morris' "the blessed life" series and putting a lot of people in a bad position with bad theology and they don't even realize it because they don't know the word of God.

I am a poor man and it will take great faith to give so much, but if this is what is right, so be it.

Does tithing count for people on disability? R we supposed to tithe on the monthly amount we recieve
Yes. Give to God first and he will provide all your needs. I know it seems hard but I have found that when giving to God first my money lasts longer.

Biblically speaking, the command to tithe was given to the children of Israel, (Lev. 27:30-34) not to the entire world. (Psa. 147:19-20)
Biblically speaking, the commanded tithe was to be agriculture, (Lev. 27:30,32) not money.

There is no law of firstfruits except for that mentioned in the old testament which was a small handbasket of the first produce of the growing season which was blessed by the priests then was to be eaten along with your family and those who had nothing you shared that meal with people around you
"Tithing is fristfruits."
Nehemiah 10:37-38 reveal that tithes are not firstfuits. The congregation takes their firstfruits to the House of God, but do not take their tithes to the House of God.
"I'm reading the Bible here." Yes, you are. However, your focus is blurring the truth. Malachi is speaking to the Levite Priests of Israel...the ONLY people that God's Law allowed to bring tithes to the House of God.
The congregaiton was not to go near God's House with their tithes, "lest ye bear sin and die." Theere to give thier tithes to the tribe of Levi. Their tithes were the inheritance of the tribe of Levi. (Num. 18:21) not the property of the House of God. It was the tithe of the tithes that was to be the property of the House of God, not the congregation's tithe. (Num. 18:24-32; Neh. 10:38)

No, God does not. The command to tithe was for the children of Israel. (Lev. 27:30-34) and the commanded tithe was to be a tenth of their inheritance (the land of Canaan; Lev. 27:30; Deut. 12:10-11) God never said that tithes are to be given to Him all over the world. (Psa. 147:19-20)
by the way, there were more than 10 batles in Israel fought by the Israelites. So the first battle was not a tenth of all other battles.
You quoted a lot of scripture that didn’t prove your point base on what he is teaching . Show me in the Bible where he said not to tithe .
