The reviews for Descendants: The Rise of Red have provided a mixed bag of opinions from fans. Some believe the new story was exactly what the franchise needed to return with a bang, while others thought it left much to be desired. However, the fourth installment of the franchise was merely an origin story, providing a personal narrative and problem for the protagonists, Red and Chloe, to fix. Now that the franchise's new faces have made their debut, they can approach Auradon earnestly, willingly making waves in the world where fairy tales and happy endings can exist. They’re the first to risk altering history to save their loved ones and doing so will undoubtedly have consequences for the rest of their world. That’s actually so good, I wish they would’ve done that, because they’re basically saying if you want to be good, don’t get bullied. They could’ve told her it’s all good, and she might be sad for a few days but with the right friends she’ll get over it

Well if watch the begin of this movie again you will notice that uma says that mal ben jay and evie are making alliances. Carlos was not stated at all. However this could mean 2 things, 1 that the og characters will come back except for carlos thats why they didn’t say his name, if the og wasn’t coming back then they could have just lied saying carlos is also with them, this bringse to meaning 2, which is they just wanted respect cameron boyce (carlos) by not including him.

Watch Mel come back as the villain and actually have a good villain relationship with both parents. Both parents co parented to raise Mel to be more evil than them. That means Audrey married Ben.

Mal would be a villain who understood the power of LOVE very much. And would be an interesting villain who doesn't believe love makes you weak!
A villain who knows how powerful love is would be very dangerous for heroes who always have to rely on villains being completely heartless.
Dove cameron who plays Mal won't come back. Her character might be talked about but i doubt we won't see her again.

I really doubt the OG cast will return out of respect for Cameron. They came in this as 4, I don't think they want to continue the story without him. As much as I would love to see them return, we gotta respect them moving on

My theory in Descendants 5, Like a week after the events of the Rise of Red, Uma introduces Red to guidance counselor and which Ally (daughter of Alice in Wonderland) but when the girls goes for a quick visit to Cinderellasburg, and they see that Cinderella says that Chloe isn’t Chloe's favorite anymore. Chloe and Red experience the changes of them changing the past and realizing that Cinderella has turned evil, and Chloe and Red contemplate that their mom's reversed roles like the Queen of Hearts being the sweet and nurturing and Cinderella being the evil one, Red and Chloe travel to Wonderland, they decide to stay for a while in Red's castle and the Queen of Hearts agrees and while Red was showing Chloe around the castle, Red introduces Chloe to Twee and Dora (the daughters of Tweedledee and Dormouse). But really Chloe and Red are on a mission to see if they did the right thing to change Castlecoming, so they go and see Maddox, as they explain to him about changing the past, and he warns the girls about the consequences and they to adjust to their new reality. And while Red is giving Chloe a tour of her home, Red then with her best friends, Ace and Chester (since they changed the past, they would've never been turned into a cat or a soldier-card) and Red introduces Ace and Chester to Chloe as her friend (and maybe Chester thinks Chloe is cute). As they find out that there was no strict rules as before, but they decide to get answers, so they four of them decide to go Bramble Bay again, but while they were driving, Chloe and Red admit to them that they changed the past to save Chloe's mother Cinderella, and the boys didn’t really believe them until they showed them the pocketwatch. When they made it to the gate, they got through thanks to Red. And Chloe is amazed on how Bramble Bay, but when they met with Dee (daughter of Tweedledee). While they were there, Chloe senses that Red likes Ace to which Red admits to her. And they realize how much things have changed since parties are legal and fun things are also legal, and Red realized how much everything changed then what she was used to growing up.
I wrote so much, I can't think about what would happen next, like maybe at the end Ace and Red start dating, and Chester and Ace get accepted to Auradon Prep.
Oh my god. I believe its just a matter of time. I need you to become a director is this story is followed and you make your own one!! I'd so binge watch it.

In the starting of rise of red uma said mal and ben are in a new adventure maybe i meant maybe they could come back in desendants 5 and the og cast the new cast would be reunited but one problem i guess carlos/cameron would be not there
The actors for Mal, Evie and Jay all said they wouldn't do another Descendants movies because of Cameron's death. They didn't think it was the right decision FOR THEM to do another movie.

Couple suggestions maybe have some of the original cast make some cameos in the fifth movie Secondly have Dizzy Tremaine, Cecilia , Squeaky & Squirmy from Descendants 3 team up with Princess Red & Chloe Charming to form the next generation group of friends.

@@boiaustinongamesyes but being mad about 2 people falling in love that’s kind of stupid a reason to be mad at someone for since Cinderella easily could defend the queen of hearts later on like Cinderella told Chloe a different story of what happened than the one that the queen of hearts was trying to tell Red proving that Cinderella will still defend the queen of hearts. It’s not Cinderellas fault that Prince Charming distracted Cinderella while Bridget/the queen of hearts got pranked. Also we can’t say that Cinderella didn’t care that the queen of hearts got pranked since obviously Cinderella cares that the queen of hearts got pranked since Cinderella told Chloe a different story than the one that the queen of hearts was trying to tell red. Also we don’t even really know what the prank is or how uliana humiliated/pranked the queen of hearts all we is know that uliana somehow pranked the queen of hearts while Cinderella was distracted by Prince Charming. Also we don’t know how far uliana took the prank on the Queen of hearts since the movie doesn’t say what ulianas prank is

It’s not Cinderellas fault Prince Charming distracted a teenage Ella around the time uliana pranked the queen of hearts that was more just bad timing for Cinderella and her husband to fall in love. Plus we don’t even know what ulianas prank even actually was since it's never shown in the movie all we know is the queen of hearts is mad avour a prank since red and chloe stop uliana before uliana can even prank bridget plus theres no way uliana can even actually prank bridget if the cookbook is cursed not to be in the hands of someone like uliana and ulianas crew. the cookbook would have frozen uliana and ulianas crew the second uliana tried to open it up even without chloe and red around uliana and ulianas crew would have gotten frozen since according to chloe and red the cookbook cant be opened up by anyone whos not good. theres no way in bridgets original timeline for uliana to do a successful prank if the cookbook is cursed not to be opened up by anyone like uliana.

I’m just ready for a whole new descendants
I feel that should do a Descendants 5th movie and continue the story with Red and Chole Charming with their friendships and to become real friends and meet new friends as well the storyline should continue more drama and other fun things in the next chapter of descendants.
I definitely think that Uliana and the VK’s are coming back to the present to mess with red and Chloe because they messed with their prank, and by doing that is to mess with the fabric of time to change their lives forever. That’s what I think the plot is going to be in descendants 5!!!!

1. We spent so much time listening to Chloe and Red talking they crammed all the action in the last 20 minutes
2. If the spell book was designed to freeze anyone who tried to steal it how did The octopus villain (I forgot her name) pull the prank and In the first place
3. The whole movie was centred around the Castle coming dance but we didn't get to see it
4. At the end the movie Red and Chloe successfully change the past and make Bridgette stay the same for her whole life but that was a terrible ending I thought that they would fail at changing the past then go back to the future and Convince Bridgette to stop
So in conclusion the Songs were AMAZING but the movie itself... I'll give it a 4/10
