I've really loved this vlog. Living vicariously through you on your hols as I can't visit my dad still as he is in a red country. I have the same reaction to mosquitoes too, every single time, its very annoying 😒. Pleased you both had a great time ❤

Taking Piriton tablets if you get mozzie bites will greatly help to reduce your body's reaction. If you take one every 4 hrs (check that !) the swelling, redness and itching will be kept at bay. I wouldn't know I've been bitten when I take them. A holiday staple for me. Xx

OMG I'm dealing with the same thing right now with spider bites, I just moved to a new city and apparently the spiders hate me. The doctors put me on antibiotics for awhile because they couldn't tell if it was an infection or an allergic reaction. The rest of your trip looks gorgeous though, I'm glad y'all had a good time!!!

My mosquito bites are the same 😫😫 they flare up and go double the size in a day 🥴
Looks like you had a great time away . I always get bit on hols, my Dr hold me to get insect repellent that has 50% Deet in it, I use the Boots one and haven't been bit once while using it xxx

I get the same reaction to mosquito bites too!! Sometimes even twice as big as those... it'd crazy how people react differently to them

Hi Soph, I'm the same as you, I always get infected mosquito bites (I'm talking massive and they turn purple). I got xemacort from my GP and I take it away with me and put it on if I get bit and it clears up after a couple of days. Hope that helps for the future :)
Newcomer to your channel...first watched your wonderful Lapland trip a week ago and I was instantly hooked. Just love your personality..so down to earth, chill, super classy, very sweet...all the above. This vlog was the polar opposite of Finland lol but just as glorious. The moon over the water gave me the touchy feelies. Sunset too. Saw Part 1 and I was again swept off my feet.

How did you not get stung by mosquitos while you were at the beach, usually covered with them
I also get allergic reactiobs to mosquito bites, had a really painful big horse fly bite on my leg this year, took 3 weeks for it to fully go away
