I missed you 😢 I'm a dental student and tbh I feel really lost in life these days. My parents are retired and I struggle with being financially dependent on them
Hey Dr wassup I'm up late with it I know you would find another job. I got a question a friend of mine have Gum Disease what's a good treatment for him if it's ok to ask thanks
Glad to hear that you did what was best for you! I am also considering private practice when I graduate dental school in 8 months and the owner is offering a daily guarantee for the 1st several months. Did you ever have a daily guarantee starting out in the private practice due to the instability? Thanks!
Hi! Yes! It's fairly common for corporate dental practices to pay a daily minimum (which can be anywhere from around $450-750). So even if all your patients cancelled that day you will still receive that amount. This is also nice for newer graduates who work slowly and don't produce a lot starting off. It's a concept that some private practices are adopting. Hope this helps! @@Godfavorsmi
My masters in education is my back-up plan. I love teaching and education, so in the event that - God forbid - I'm injured to where I can no longer practice dentistry, education will be my plan B. Having a degree in education makes me a more promising candidate and gives me higher paying opportunities. I hope that explains it!
@@DoctorKrysten yes thank you so much ! That’s smart thinking 💭 when your goal is getting into dental school & becoming a doctor; personally I feel like that’s the end of the marathon lol but you can never be too careful or solely rely on 1 source of income
Appreciate your transparency and honesty, im glad everything worked out for you.

Hello, what does daily guarantee mean?! Do they pay you a certain amount no matter how many pts you see?! Thank you

I did have a daily guarantee for the first 3 months!
Why did you go back to school for your Masters degree if you have a doctorate?! 👩🏽⚕️
