I truly appreciate the use of tape on the flaps and the stamping on the wee spines. Love your positivity and ability to roll with changes, mistakes, different ways of making things.
Oh my goodness, u have taught me something NEW, to mark each cut paper, with the corresponding envelope, so as it will match, and actually that's a much better idea than mine, to cut ur paper all at once, I will now do this to save me time & stress, Thank you so very much for sharing ❤️❤️❤️ have a blessed 🙏 day 💕
What a gorgeous mini envelope journal. Very cute. A little tip for sewing straight lines on the sewing machine is not to watch the needle as you sew but to watch the side of the presser foot (which you line up with the edge of either fabric or paper. Hope this helps. 🤞🤞 🙂🇦🇺
You crack me up with your English! That's not to be rude btw! Your English is excellent, but it's the little sayings you come out with that are so typically things we say. Normally when foreigners learn English, they learn it so "properly". Using correct grammar and language structure etc, and of course, we don't speak like that in everyday language. A quick example would be: "Good morning, how are you today?" We would say: "y'alright???" Or... Something like: "Shall we order a food delivery for our evening meal?" We'd say: "Grab that stack of menus on your way back in, I'm fuckin' starving and can't be arsed to cook!" 😂 As you can see, English lessons don't generally teach people the way we tend to speak. Of course all over the UK, there are tons of accents and local slang, but I'm from the South East of England, so our way of talking is GENERALLY like working-class London ish. Lot's of swearing, lots of slang, lots of sarcasm, lots of banter. So it's highly amusing hearing your sing-songy little Dutch voice, talking like exactly like we do. Especially when you take the piss out of yourself, like, "No, let's try doing it properly Love" or "Might help if I was in frame first". That self deprecating humour is so British. 😂 I literally snorted when you were talking about Art Glitter Glue... "Use glue stick for these panels, so you can adjust it, because Art Glitter Glue is like: You want it stuck? There ya go it's stuck!" 🤣 I could listen to you for hours. You're a mixture of sweet, joyful, enthusiastic and hilarious...without trying. I was crying my eyes out this morning, really really mentally low and feeling drained. I have depression anyway, but this morning it really had me gripped in a vice. I was having some dark thoughts. Really dark morbid thoughts... (Don't worry, I get hit with those moments every month or so, REALLY low! I've had it for YEARS! I don't plan on giving up or giving in to it, I just repeat in my mind: "this will pass, this mood won't last" so don't think I'm at risk or anything! Promise! It's just something I live with.) But yeah, when it comes over me it is grim. It left me feeling crappy all day and I had a dull throbbing headache! Now I've just watched this and feel like I've swallowed a handful of happy pills. My cheeks are aching from smiling! 😁 Thank you, my God I needed that! Beautiful little wallet envelope pocket mini journal thingy. How cool is that decorating method!!! 😲 I could see me watching TV and absentmindedly doing a stack of decorated pages in an evening! I like that idea a lot! Oftentimes I want to decorate something but don't know what, or don't want to make something to decorate in the first place. But that way I could just decorate as much as I like, and use the pages for panels when I'm ready! 😍 LOVE that idea! Thank you for sharing, and cheering me up! 😘😘😘 xxxxxxx Art Glitter Glue though..... 🤣 It *IS* like that though isn't it! It's stuck before you've even finished laying the paper down! OH! BTW! I've been sewing for YEARS! I'm fairly good I'd say, not professional by a long shot, but pretty good. Even so, the machines themselves ...? I don't know how I haven't launched them out the window! Bloody things! They are always doing something that makes zero sense! You know it's threaded right, needle is in properly, tension is correct, bobbin is full and loaded perfectly....thread snaps, or snags, or bunches up, or loops...and I end up thinking WHYYYYYY! I can't sew anything without it triggering Tourettes Syndrome in me! Swearing like a sailor! I get so frustrated I'm making up new swear words in anger! 😳 And just like you, simple job, just a quick line of boring, easy, simple, straight stitching...will only take two minutes! An hour later....😵😡😫😠😱🤬 Grrrrrrrr....... I feel you, I really feel your struggle.... 😂🤣😅
Thank you so much for sharing lovey, you put a smile on my face today. And hoping you will see better days . I know a thing or 2 about depression myself. 😘👍🏻
Lovely project! Thank you for sharing. Keep sewing! If your thread is messy on the bottom,of your project, then adjust the tension wheel on the machine front. If the top of your stitching is messy, then tighten the little screw on the bobbin case. It is opposite of what you might think for adjustments.
Erg leuk projectje heb pas zo een envelop gekregen mijn scoreboard is wel in cm dus hoop dat ik het in een keer goed omreken hihi dank je wel voor de leuke uitleg👍🏻
Thanks for the awesome video as always. Just a tip - when you want to open the sealed end just boil your kettle and hold the envelope over the steam for a couple minutes and it will peel open. Can't wait to make one of these 💖
Good morning from NJ (America). The project is LOVELY as always. Thank you for the suggestion on the book binding supplies from Aliexpress. I do like that site and the quality of the things I've purchased so far are great! Have a good day. Be safe xoxo
One of the first things I made when I discovered junk journalling was following a tutorial from Eva. I was amazed at what I could do with an envelope and started a whole new crafting journey for me. Love Eva and loved watching your tutorial too. I get so much from my crafting. Thank you for sharing xxxx
I'm really loving your videos. Your voice is lovely to listen to , I love your explanations on how to make things. Thank you . I've only been to Amsterdam and surrounding area and loved it .
I love how you call yourself “love”. 😀. Your videos are so inspiring. I look forward to seeing them each day. Thanks for all you share! Your tension is off on the back in your sewing. It should have been preset, unless you bought a used sewing machine. Not sure how to tell you how to fix it though. Both sides of your sewing should look the same, theoretically.
Love this, I really enjoyed your tutorial, I love listening to you. I just went and bought Eva's kits. I will be having ago at this. brilliantly explained. Thank you. ❤❤
The tv show you were thinking of was Kung Fu, starring David Carradine. You had his name right. These cards you made with the pockets are outstanding. I love them. Mine will never look like yours, one because I don't have the product you have and two, I can't buy the product where I live, no big stores to shop and buying online is costly. But that is ok. Thank you for sharing and God Bless.
Please persevere with sewing. Draw lines on a sheet of paper and stitch along pages of them until you can command the sewing stitch line as you wish. It will all come with practice and you will be glad you can do it well.
Love this mini journal. This is my 1st time on your channel and I subscribed right away. Please tell me again the size of the envelope you used. Thank you.
I have a suggestion for your machine. 1. Change needle. 2. Unthread and rethread both top and bottom bobbins. 3. Check your sewing machine manual to see which direction the upper thread should unwind from the bobbin. Front to back or back to front matters. These are sometimes easy fixes that can affect the tension. 🪡 I
I was bad at getting a straight line with my sewing; my husband bought me my machine for my 21st birthday (many, MANY years ago!!) A few months ago it finally died, and couldn't be fixed. Ohh! 😪 I now have a new one and - guess what - I can sew straight! My old machine was too fast for me, I have better control with this one. Makes me feel better about 'abandoning' my old friend! So maybe your sewing isn't your fault??
thank you for your amazing tutorial! Could you tell me where to buy...or what exactly is the brand of your "cutter"...I love the indents for your finger...and it seems soo solid...I would love to try one...mine is a friskar...not keen on it...also love your score board...sure would love one like that too...Janis
🥰 I'd love to get tracy fox labels but I dont have a printer and really don't want to fussy cut them all. I noticed in many of your videos that you have little labels that are stickers. Where did you get them or already cut labels that I can glue on. I have arthritis and all that cutting is painful. Can you help
You said you don’t order from Amazon very often because it was too expensive. I was wondering if you pay more or less than us in the US. Those Velcro dots are $9.99 for 1000 0.59”. They also sell the 3/4” in a box of 500 for $6.77. Is that what you pay? I’m just curious.

Hi Janis, thanks for watching my videos. The cutter is from Tonic Studios, I like it a lot 👍🏻
Will this work with one of your long coin evelopes?
Yes 👍🏻👍🏻
By all means, do learn all you want...personally I like messy and frayed stitches!! :-)
Thanks 😊

They are from old made awesome, on Instagram
Can this be made without a kit?
Sure, use any paper you like 😊
Dollar tree sells Velcro dots also
Perfect 👍🏻 thank you so much for the tip lovey 😊
Set the tension and the thread to the #3 then adjust accordingly.
Thanks for the tip 👍🏻😊

I didn’t order them on Amazon, I heard from Julie Camilacrafydesigns you can get them there .
Steam it... Or best gun it... Will be easy peasy then
Look on the back of you paper. The sewing is not catching due to YES the tension. Good luck.
I know , trying to figure it out 😜
The tension on your sewing machine is off. That may be why you are having problems.
Stop! 😂
