Sometimes i must laugh when i am thinking of this and when they are now. Sempiternal is not bad, but this is way more creative and before olis throut surgery it had awesome screaming in it.
Curtis is so underrated. prolly one of my favorite guitarists ever just bc of his work on the CYB album alone. i hope BMTH does another deathcore album like this and invite him to play.

what in gods name are you talking about? he growls numerous times in this song, especially a lot at the end. and his highs are amazing. he is obviously one of the best vocalists out there
i agree with everyone, you are 100% RIGHT and i have brought this up before. i love this cd 10x more than their new one, but i still love them and their music. oli's scream now isnt a scream, its a yell. he sometimes does his growl in the songs, but its not as often. not a lot of inhales anymore either :/ i still love them though
the thing is that when you're just screaming like he does in CYB it doesn't get that exhausting. But now he's combining with midhc kinda shit and when you do alot of different techniques you get pretty exhausted. Anyway what he's doing now is very hard but he could pull it of if he took more care of his self haha..
i myself scream in a band. and yes he does exhale alot, but also he does inhale quite a bit. have you listened to all of CYB? he does it alot. like at 3:58, 4:01, 4:14 and so on. he doesnt do it as much live as he does it on the cd. oli tends to switch up words sometimes and skip parts. or inhale on a exhale part in the cd. but he definatly does both. and for people who say inhales are not hard and that the only way to go is exhales, look right here. they both are great ways to scream mixed toge

Dont care for much after that apart from a few off Suicide Season, but this album is just fucking brutal. I've seen them twice (once in 08, once in 09) and they were pretty good, wish they could just go back to this sound really.
