the rock is one lucky son of gun. went to play college football for a team that won a championship the year he played there then went to wrestling and just a year after his debut, he was already a big star in wrestling then a few years after that, he became a hollywood star and then proceeded to be the highest paid actor in showbusiness. there are people who dedicated their whole life on just one thing but the rock is the definition of "everything he touches turns to gold"

FYI Patrice Oneal was a writer for the WWF for a time. According to Patrice, the writers are treated like kings by the wrestlers, because they wanted to be liked by the writers so that they would give them better storylines.
He didn't go into many details (on the Opie and Anthony radio show), but he said he that was fired by Vince McMahon in person while aboard the company jet en route to an event.
I Watch the rock back in 1996 and see him evolve over the years and the greatest days to be alive for wrestling
The last match The Rock had before returning in 2011 was at WM 20 where he teamed up with Mick Foley against Evolution (Ric Flair, Randy Orton and Batista) in a handicap match. His actual last match was against John Cena in 2013 at WM 29.
He also had a throw away "match" at WM 32 against Eric Rowan where The Rock beat him in 6 seconds but I don't count that one
Too bad that last match is an official one. I wished instead of his long entrance, he just had a match with Bray. Or Luke/Brody even.
The only person who could rival Rock's savagery on the mic was Stone Cold Steve Austin. You guys should check out some of his old promos.

The Rock beat Stone Cold at WrestleMania 19, and that was Stone cold's last match until this year. The Rocks last match before he left Hollywood, was against some French tag team with Mick Foley in 04.
