Hi, I just bought one of these on Amazon. I did a quick bass test with bass boost on with this video:

I noticed that around 50Hz to 75Hz there was some buzzing, especially from the left speaker, and from around 80Hz to 90Hz, even though it was less, there was still some buzzing. Switching the bass boost off made it somewhat better with buzzing only around 75Hz. When listening to music the buzzing is hard to hear. Is still normal?
Hi Tihomir, it's normal. In general, the buzzing is hard to hear when playing music but it can be found under frequency-sweep test. It's a typical situation on most of the bluetooth speakers.
If its not audible in normal usage, then there is no problem at all.
Hi sir this may be late but here are my findings. I also have the same buzzing issue you’ve been experiencing at 75hz. There seems to be a QC issue with some Maxsound plus units. Apparently if you tear down the grill and check the screws holding down the baffle board. There are some screws that aren’t fully fastened and or has not been sealed with a sealant. This also explains why my unit started to freak out after dipping it in water. I guess the water got in between the screw threads. With that idea, it goes the same when you play sub bass frequencies. Air gets in between the threads and causes that buzzing noise. There is an easy fix to this (although this may invalidate the warranty). Remove the screw and buy some cheap thread locker in a hardware store. Apply it to the threads of the screw and screw it back. Hope this helps for you or to anyone experiencing the same issue.

Hi Tribit, I have Tribit xsound plus, this is amazing sound with deep bass and clear sound in mid and high...please make Speaker Bluetooth with small size like this but with 25w+ 25w = 50w Rms power, and maybe plus subwoofer on plus series... Small design, cute, premium, but powerful like premium speaker... I still waiting your next WOW product...

Today I am buy Tribit Maxsound Plus... I love Tribit for tuning bass, mid range, treeble, very clear and powerful , no harsh ... Not expensive but I feel like premium speaker, mini body very compact for hand phone, ultra book, and digital audio player. I dream next day Tribit make small speaker like Tribit Maxsound plus with 25x2 = 50w Rms with subwoofer... I still waiting Tribit surprize...make amazing sound with worth it price...thanks.

@@subhrajit7676 the reason i choose maxsound plus over the xboom is because simply the natural sound. Maxsoundplus sounds like more resolution. The xboom in the other hand sound a bit hollow since it is a kind of 360 sound.

I was confused about the water resistance of this speaker because it was advertised as IPX7 but the precaution said not to submerge it in water

The material is waterproof. Even the water got in, it will not affect the normal use.😉
I bought one of these a few weeks ago (The upgrade version). Not sure what difference that is? I am a bus driver and that's where I use it on the bus while im driving. It does a good job of overpowering all of the booming and banging of interior panels and rails on bumpy roads.
It is very clear and provides some fairly decent bass for its size, the frequency repsonse truly is levelled quite well. I wouldn't be surprised if there are more expensive speakers out there that don't sound as good as this.
My only critisism for this speaker is when switching between volume adjustment on the phone and the speaker, it tends to get confused from time to time, but I have solved this by simply using one or the other.
It would also make a very good paperweight!, it would seem that tribit have ventured into space and procured some dark matter and made the frame out of it or something, this thing is like a blackhole!
I want tribit to make a 40W speaker because i know it will kill everything else in the market, probably they are already making one. For now i am ordering the Max Sound Plus. Only thing i am worried about is what if it stops working. No service in India, but i will still order one.

Just disassembled the tribit x sound go and found out the actual speakers used were made of neodymium magnets. Surprisingly it is not advertised 🤔
