Same here, was also lucky enough to see the Dubai world record shell a few years ago. Might get to play with a few 24" shells in 4 weeks time.... I hope 🙏

@@ExplosiveMD Cool ! It was in 1997 I saw the 36" with a 24" at the PGI convention USA. They were made by Devin Dixon if I remember. Would you build a 24"?

I would if I could, I've built a few smaller shells up to 6" but never anything larger.
I have fired a few large shells in my time and for me try and build a 24" then fire it... hummmm nope lol I wouldn't trust it.
1997 I remember it so well, they were wonderful days for fireworks before a the crazy rules and pyro prices.

@@ExplosiveMD 6" are sweet ! I have reloaded 10" but I should have been on the camera instead. The first shell I made was a Chinese 6" double pedal and it worked as it should. After that I made strictly Italian style 4" and 5",.but now I just make 3" 3 tier effects with an aerial shell break mines for my private shows. One of the two 5" was a Hammer with 6 *Spoolett timing the other was *Shimezu red stars and *phyateens to bottom shot both 5" shells with success. I stopped at that point. (*words not spelled correctly)
