Yes this is very helpful, but as others have implied, it's not a complete solution for hiding a NEW button. This is because the "Add Existing" button pops open a lookup panel which still displays a "+ New" button. I understand you were just demonstrating ribbon editing in subgrid, but for anyone using your guidance for this reason, they'll have to continue searching for a solution. This is only half of one.

can u please share how you have created entities of student course and other entities ??
You can create entity from solution. When you have two entity then add one entity as 1:N or N:1 raltionship. Then it will create parent:child relationship. Then you can add subgrid of child entity on your parent entity.
Hi, I am trying to hide the deactivate product button on my subgrid and followed your video it didn't work but the solution was published without any error. What could be the reason?
If you have mentioned some rule to hide button then check the rule is correctly provided.
Or we can directly hide button.
Once published, refresh the page.

Is there any way to hide sub-grid buttons based on different security roles? I have a custom entity sub-grid on the Lead entity and I need to hide 3 of the sub-grid buttons for all non-system admins, but show all sub-grid buttons for system admin
