LunaBlue® ‘FC12-205’ Attributes

LunaBlue® ‘FC12-205’ has high yields of very uniform, large fruit that is more resistant to cracking and heat shrivel compared to 'Last Call' and other late-season varieties in our trials. This vigorous variety has many strong lateral branches and we recommend pruning to keep the inside of the bush open, and fruit on the outside. Additional trialing is underway to develop the best horticultural management practices for this variety. Although 'FC12-205' is not as late-season as 'Last Call' or 'Aurora', the quality of the fruit of 'FC12-205' after extended cold storage is superior to freshly harvested later season varieties. The exceptional fruit quality and beautiful light blue fruit color of this variety will make a great addition to any farm.
