Weird that Crowley says they're dolphins, when they look like fish in the Crowley Thoth deck. Dolphins are representative of Pisces. But they look like fish, which I think are sort of Mercurian. I asked what a deity wanted from me and got the 2 of Cups. I asked about his and my relationship and got the Empress. It's scary because there's always a dark side to every card!! But it was upright.
As I've studied it over time, it's become obvious that some of the final versions of the cards aren't the cards Crowley describes in the Book of THOTH. The Prince of Swords is a great example of this. I think something happened after Crowley died, and I hope Frieda didn't go against his intentions
Can anyone tell me what Ellen means when she refers to polarity? I've tried looking this up but can't find anything that makes much sense. I thought it might mean the reverse version of the card?
For every positive there is a negative, light and dark, good and bad, high and low, etc...every card has a positive and negative meaning, or, positive and negative polarity. Just like people, and life... everything has a polarity -- anything positive will also have a negative to it.
