I enjoyed that Glen. I am a lazy sod that never takes tours and watching your day I guess I am missing out. I like your Thin Lizzy tshirt my cousins used to hang out with Phil Lynot when he lived in Howth Dublin. I met him a few times but being young it did not really appreciate it but he was very charismatic and really friendly. The Police song brought back a memory of seeing them head lining a concert outside Dublin and U2 was the opening group aroud 1979 I guess. Great times to be alive 70/80s.Keep the great vlogs buddy.
Bro, you’ve met one of my musical heros! And got to see them live ..How cool is that! Phils music is one of the biggest reasons I picked up a bass guitar and started singing in my teenage years. I still have all their albums back in Canada.
@@GlenRobertsonMusic Wow he would have loved to hear he influenced a Canadian to play bass. I share a clip from a guy called Brush Sheils who had a band called Skid row. He saw Phil in a band called the Black eagles and invited him to join his band as a an attraction for girls and the boys would follow. They sacked as they said he was no good as a front man and could not sing little did they know. Before he left Brush who was base player told him to learn base and stay in the background and look cool he would do ok. The lead at the time as no other then Gary Moore who also went on to great things. Watch this clip what Brush thought Phil. ruclips.net/video/lHgqmuH9C3c/видео.htmlsi=GUkJzZm1P-RhvrIN
