Imagine hearing him say "one in the pipe" or "everything's so simple, when you have a rocket launcher in your hands" when he's equipped with a L.A.W or "stay there, I'll make this quick" when healing someone.
-Have a guy with this voice in the game. -Let him die in the last wave. -Now recognize, that the Patriarch sounds almost the same as the guy who died before. Look who came from from the grave to get his revenge!
@Geothesponge111 its more of a veteran-esque american about mid/late 30's whs probly seen worse. You can still tell he's clearly afraid of them because of their equipment and concept but still knows how to handle the situation following it up triumphantly with a one-liner, its pretty spot on as far as i'm concerned.
Interesting lines... Some of these would need to be cut or tweaked in order to make it into the game. I like the idea of a presumably American survivor in Killing Floor, but the voice needs more emotion in order to make it to a release version.

A really thick cockney accent is not 'generically british', it comes very specifically from the East End of London. Now admittedly, I might have made the same mistake in reverse and to someone from the US this might be easily recognisible as a specific regional accent. But it still sounds like the kind of voice you use when you're trying to do a parody of actions heroes. Y'know, like Duke Nukem. It just removes some of the character for me.

You could try verifying the integrity of the cache (right click on the game in Steam Library, click on properties, I forget the tab name but look around and you should find "Verify Integrity of cache" or something to that effect.)

There are mods on the workshop that allow you to change the voices for different characters. Examples being Pyro, having his actual voice from TF2, and Foster (and all his variations) having his voice from KF2, etc. You have to manually install it though, and it doesn't change _all_ the characters voices.

The certainly didn't spare any expenses on the recording of this. They couldn't even bother giving the guy 5 dollar pop filter.
