What's the point of the dog you jump on at the beginning? I've started avoiding getting it because I can't figure out its purpose besides messing me up and getting hit
Everytime it stomps, it makes a shockwave around itself. So enemies that come into contact with it as it stomps deals a ton of hits, usually KO'ing them right away if it's a normal enemy.
For this game, I just used a regular PS5 pad. I'd imagine an arcade stick would work pretty well with it too but I never bothered to try it tbh. I did remap the buttons though, with R1 for the wand and L1 for the dash. It makes holding or pressing them while shooting much easier.
@@boghogSTG thanks. But actually i got hotaru just by playing thru the story on extra easy lol. The 2nd time around it was hotaru instead of ikazuchi on the battleship. I doubt I could get the rest of the trophies by doing 1cc normal though
@@christophercanupp6358 you just need to beat the game twice to unlock both characters, on any difficulty. I first beat the game on normal and unlocked one then on easy to unlock the other

How do you unlock hotaru gozen? I beat the game on normal but she's still not selectable in free mode yet. Do you need to get 10k coins to unlock her?
Finish the game again on hard and youll get her

It's a shame that you need to beat the game on the hard difficulty to unlock her, but that's how it is with games that don't use micro transactions. 🤷
