Thanks for video. Beautiful lens.
These photos look plenty sharp to me. I just bought the SMC 24f3.5, looking forward to using that along with my 28m 50f1,4 and 50mmf4 macro and 35mmAutoTak f2.3
great vid and the pics are awesome
I have nothing against the m42 mount lenses, but I like using the early k mount as many of the optics are identical, I'm fine with the rubber focus ring, and I prefer to rapidly swap lenses. I recently picked up an amazing steal on a set of rare and hard to find early k mounts including the smc K 17 f4 fisheye, the 18mm f3.5, the 20mm f4, the 24mm 2.8 and the 28mm f2 distagon clone. I have yet to test ANY of them as I am military on deployment. I actually think I'm going to get a 24 mm 3.5 k mount as I've heard a lot of people say they actually prefer the optics of the 3.5 version. Also picked up a k 28mm 3.5 because it is optically different than the takumar version and the later M version but most folks say it's one of the BEST classic landscape lenses. I have a lot of testing to do when I get back.
the SMC Pentax 24mm f2.8 is on my Fuji X-T3 constantly... if only Pentax would make me a M-I-R-R-O-R-L-E-S-S camera.
A Fuji XPro1 made with an M42 mount would be priceless lol.
@@jimmason8502 i would die.
I found the 20 millimeter 3.5 probably one of the sharpest lenses I've ever used
The SMC Takumar 20mm is an f4.5 lens
Thanks for your review! I wished I had watched it first before I purchased my Super Takumar 24mm f/3.5 lens on Ebay. I just returned it after struggling to get a tack sharp image or vivid color rendition out of it. My 35mm Super Takumar (not SMC) is razor sharp with great colors that match my 50mm f/1.4 SMC, my 55mm f/1.8 Super Multi colored, and my 135mm f/3.5 Super Multi Colored lenses. This 24mm disappoints in sharpness and color. To each his own I guess but if I had heard you mention multiple times about the sharpness, I could have avoided a return. Perhaps a Asahi 24mm SMC Takumar is in my future? Thanks again!
Hi. I am interested in your comments. I have a question. Which do you think is sharper and more colorful, SMC 24mm F3.5 or non SMC 24mm 3.5 lenses? If I don't understand the comments, I'm sorry. Because I'm using the translator to understand the comments and write them! I want you to tell me the conclusion of the two lenses. Have a great day!
@@user-df1ff4tf7c I understand. The SMC were the best lenses, super multi coated, the color and sharpness are wonderful. The SMC lenses work fantastically with modern DSLR cameras.
I have the SMC 24mm f/3.5, with mint glass. Never use it though. I prefer my Canon EF 11-24mm, even though it is 1.2 kg :-) Maybe I test them against each other some day.
Хороший объектив,но очень дорогой,по крайней мере у нас. И очень редкий в продаже!!
Mine looks to me like it would hit the mirror on Canon DSLRs. That would be bad.
