It would be really interesting if Big Bonny did make them and lived with her guilt so that’s why she left her home and ran away from Silverglade Village. It would also add a lot of drama if that was the case.

This was posted 7 months ago I know, but I was just going through some old SSO footage and there's this ancient quest with Steve and mice traps where he says he "hears strange noises from underground at night". It was supposed to be in the context of the quest where he has a mice problem, but then he adds "I wonder if it's not G.E.D drilling through the entire Island" I'm paraphrasing since this footage is in a different language, but it definitely aligns with the theory. I personally think it's true. They probably didn't put that much thought into it and I also wouldn't be surprised if they changed the meaning of fridge doors as they do with other aspects of already established lore.

I'm pretty sure that Mrs. Drake stopped Kembell because Mr.Sands loves the baroness, earlier on in the new baroness racetrack quest the horse statue of her old horse arrives mysteriously from an unknown sender, (if I'm remembering correctly). it makes sense that Sands would want the baroness to be happy and he would know that the racetrack would do that.
I highly doubt Sands would send Mrs Drake for that in that case. He'd only legally stopped Mr Kembell. Here there was something he could say which was the problem.

OMG i just realised something. Today i finished the starshine legacy series and i realised that fripp once said he and his crewmates crashed on Jorvik! so the uvo must've been his!!
Putting something out here; but I think the fridge doors all equal up to the guy (in dark core!!) that stole the horses of south hoof when he stole nightdust, Madison’s horse, and went to pier 13. He then, after we get all the horses back, injects himself with the serum he was gonna inject the horses with to make a “super horse.” (A totally submissive horse to its rider) He then, becomes a big hairy monster we have to take down. After that, your character log gets updated. If you read all the way down of the log, it reads, “I fear that we haven’t seen the last of him.”
someone once chiltched into the 5th fridge door place, it was all water and looked exactly the same as the place where you steal the thingy in sso legacy, so which means we have been by the 5th door

I wholeheartedly believe that they are connected to the Dark Core Monster Institute (or whatever it is named). In the recent Fort Maria quests, the Buttergoods very heavily imply it. Scott mentions the tunnels, and Valdemar mentions the institute connecting to "something underground". After a while of studying the sounds of the fridge doors, you can hear a certain howling..? It is, in fact, monster-like. I don't know what you guys think, but I have my mind set on this.

If you read the text of mr sands in our journal you will see that he is pretending to search for oil but he is actually searching for garnok. So I believe that dc and ged teamed up or are the same company but in 2 parts, so no one will notice that they search for garnok. And maybe that’s the reason why at the constitution site’s nothing is happening and there is oil all over. (Pls give me credits when you say that in another video)
You did an amazing job trying to figure this mystery out though there is something I do want to add to possibly strengthen your theory. I don't know if someone already pointed this out as I haven't looked at other videos but if you look at the GED logo from the side it looks like the doors at night when light shines through the windows. I don't know if it's just a coincidence and that's just the logo or I'm right and it just adds to your theory.
Hello,I have something to add,while I was training for the Rune runner,on a mission,it looked like the barrier wall was glitching,but it showed the star symbols from Northenas theory,the outline is back,the place where I was training was near the fridge door at Golden hills,the star had the dot where the golden hills fridge door was,so that was a bit weird,innit?
i'm highly intrigued at stories, theories and mysteries off sso, it's a personal belief that something darker is going on in the game as we speak. I mean, we only have 1 area in the mountains we haven't had unlocked, dundull too. What about ashland? What's ashlands story and why are there buildings there?
Also when i was playing starshine legacy ep 3 (specifically the level you showed in the video) you would see a scene where a goon was talking and he said ''Im so happy we are done working here, it gives me the creeps!'' wich shows human emotion. but it could alsbo be that with time they started making robot goons.

I've heard about the map and that Pine Hill mansion is marked somewhere north, I have the books myself but I've never saw a page with the map. It might be another clue that Mr. Sands started this project and encouraged GED to cooperate? 🤔 Thanks for the info!
I use AdaptiveFog from Reshade. SSO supports this kind of modification of the game, so feel free to use it! It won't work on laptops tho.
