i got me a husky pup a few months ago and i’ve been watching your videos before and after i got him and you’ve really helped me out a lot. he’s training well but he has his moments. and sometimes i don’t think he’s a husky cause he’s lazy and i have to make him go outside. but i love him. thank you.
We “accidentally” went on a walk with a guest before they came in the house. It was awesome! It’s like a switch went off in our huskies’ brains and they were completely calm when we got back. It is our go to now 😁
Had a husky for 12 years .... and had to have him on a leash all 12 years (or he would run!), but he was a great dog. This guys voice sounds like Jack Black!
You know the Huskies are the stars, you are there to assist 🤣🤣🤣 All jokes aside, your babies are exceptionally well trained, calmed and focus. It's clear you have invested tons of time, patience and love with your furkids ❤👍
I turned my hip into my husky to discourage him from jumping up. He got the message. No more scratch marks. Success! But he decided on his own on an alternative. Shoulder bump is now his new thing. I'm too tall for the hip bump.
Love your videos. My hubby and I just got a husky pup for our German Shepard/Lab Mix.(She needed a friend) Your videos are helping me understand how to properly train him, because he is a bit more work than our other dog was, but still the goodist of boys.😊
I especially like your advice on turning around rather than screaming at your husky and that you explain that when you scream at the they think you are getting excited too and think are we going to go crazee @@ right now 😂 and when you said "Please calm down Don't go towards the guest "...love your sense of humor 😄😄

That's good and I'll try doing that because he doesn't understand me talking to him or scolding him.. I'm getting him fixed ASAP!! I pray this helps calm him down at least 50 to 75%.. he'll bite on me. It hurts like hell and I'm beginning to think I made the biggest mistake in the world getting this dog. At least here he's got a big yard to run around and get a lot of his energy out of that he didn't have before. Former owner took him out on the leash a couple times a day. He was happy at first but here for the past 3 or 4 weeks he has driven me nuts. Scratches all over me and he won't lay or sit still for anything in the world. It's been so bad in the past couple nights I have to shut him out of my bedroom so I can go to sleep or he'll keep me up all night long

It seems to me that some husky owners make their pets miserable so they can tell them off and make them more miserable, but not you. You are a wonderful Dad and your pets reflect how well they are treated. I love to see their happy faces. Hugs to you and them.
I have a cat ball chaser track the one that looks like a giant donut. My husky absolutely LOVES it, really helps entertain his mind and tire him out! I highly recommend this for anyone struggling to get all the zoomies out 😆
Tricks and tips! I raised ten ( wolf_huskies) in Concow, Cali for about six months . I would say, "who's being good?" and they all knew at the same time to sit and look at me. I have a photo. This still helps to this day, i love our husky blizzard (hes almost 5 by now 😭) and he howls for things he wants and hasnt been trained (i had a bunch of medical issues right after we got him). Im working on training him and my family so we are all secure!
I adopted a adorable 1yr o husky mix last year and HE Is AMAZING ! The reason his old owner abandoned him (giving him to us as a gift) is because he is totally uncontrollable, he pee / poop every where, he destroyed multiple furniture and even dig through a wall (wtf). It’s just because how less attention his old owner gives to him, (15min walk/ day). And he was only 20lb! (u can feel his ribs under his long fur). Now in our house, although we currently are in a small apartment, with a super long walks per day, he NEVER destroyed anything except his chewing toys! He is a super sweet boy and everyone love him😙😙😙

How long did it take for yours to adjust , mine always wanna be outside after we went on trails for like a hour but my fence is fucked up and the smart mf knows how to take off his collar and harness we had to adopt him bc his family aint want him he's our first dog
@@84sonmyslab92 mines 3 years old and male. His escape attempts have consisted of pushing family out of the way and making a run for it. He's smart but he hasn't attempted to jump the fence yet and such. I feel like a got a very mild dog for a husky, but he first thing I did was kennel train (essentially his bedroom) and show that I was in charge. At first, I walked him through the perimeter of the yard and let him and the other dogs figure out their hierarchy. My next step was a strict schedule (he goes outside at 6 before everyone leaves for work/school for example). His previous family didn't have a yard, didn't take him out enough, brush him, or anything. Surprisingly he's mostly settled now after almost a month. As for the collar, the best advice I can give since one of my other dogs is also an escape artist and does those same things. Tactical harness and collar. I have a tactical collar for mine, mostly to help train him to sit at the door no matter what until I say. He doesn't mind it, but with our other dog, we had to make sure he couldn't get it over his head. As long as the buckles aren't weak, the collar isn't choking them and it's adjusted to where it's too small for them to pull their head through, then it's fine. They still have a lotta fluff and are super strong. It may also help to associate the harness and collar with something good. Say every time you see they still have it on, give them a small treat after tugging on it or reminding them it's there. Most of the advice and insight I have is from sixty formula and my foster family and how they trained their shepksy. It's really good that you get them out though.
I finally found your channel again lol. I watched one of your videos like 4 years ago when I first rescued my huskaroni huskaroo. This time I hit the follow button. Do you have a video on soothing them when the booms are going off? My jazzy hates Fourth of July and new years. She gets really anxious which is pretty normal for huskies it seems but I’d love your advice on how to make it easier for her.
I'm Autistic and my brothers' husky/shiba-inu mix could sense I am not like the humans from his household. He could sense that I like calmness and he seems to sense that I am not to be mess with. 😂 He stays calm around me, but knows when I'm in a playful mood and would horse around. The people of his household have no idea what they got themselves into. We are in South Florida and to me it is abusive to bring up such a double coated animal into such an extreme weather, unless you keep them within the house all day. As we all know Huskies can be very destructive in the household. We are talking about a dog breed that is for all day sledging in extreme Siberian cold weather (Russian extremes here). I just feel so sorry for these powerful dogs who were meant for one extreme and not for another. 😥
I'm sorry to intrude but after thoroughly discussing it with my vetinarian there is some confusion in regards to Huskies being in hotter climates. Most people are unaware but their double coat also insulates them from the sun and heat to an extent as long as they get plenty enough water. (Similar to a thermos that can work for both hot and cold liquids). It doesn't insulate them all of the way but with good undercoat maintenance the huskies actually tend to keep their summer coat longer and just shed a bit more with minimal issues. They would actually fair better in a hot climate than a Maltese for example because they are a bit more protected from the sun.
A lot of good ideas right up to the prey part. Training collar is the way to go to quickly get them to use to the "leave it" command. I prefer a 3 step collar with beep and buzz before a correction. After just a few days you can off leash walk your dog with squirrels everywhere, and while your dog may still vocalize(and that's okay, they are simply saying hey, I want to chase that squirrel or bird), they will stay right by your side until you release them to go.
Just got a new siberian puppy ... we had one years ago.. but I totally forgot how cray cray they are during their adolescents 😆. We also have a shihtzu *she's 3*. So far we've been hand feeding him, to avoid any food reactivity. I have been watching your videos! They're great thank you 😊
I recently got a beautiful crazy husky puppy. I knew with cats that if you turn your back on them or they you, it means they're upset with you. I serendipitously (happy accident) found out it that it makes my puppy calm down. I sat down and ignored her (not on purpose, but I was doing something and had to ignore her) next thing I knew, she went to her bed and fell asleep. Later when she began going bonkers again and NO! Wasn't working, I put her in her pen and calmly turned my back on her. After a couple minutes, (maybe not even that long) she went into her bed and calmed down. I thought "hmmmm?" And "googled" how to calm down a crazy husky puppy which brought me here. I laughed when I saw you talking about turning your back... hahahahaha 😂. Love all the comments! Glad to hear everyone's huskies are the same way and my puppy isn't broken 😆

Thank you so much for your Knowlege on huskys I rescued a husky and named him Kosmo he is so wonderful except getting up to early Ha HA. I have learned so much from you about the breed. Thank you again and keep up the great work your AWESOME.
I like the turning my back to my little fluffy guy and it does work, however he now will turn his back to me when he gets upset cause I won’t let him have his way. He’ll also pretend he’s not listening to me while he’s doing it which is so cute and funny
Omg I really really need this I am getting a husky when I am a little older in like 2 or 3 years and I always heard that huskies are always really really cute but crazy dogs so this is going to help very very very much thank you so so very very much I love watching your videos so much sixty formula thank you again
It's funny how a husky could pop any number of baby gates but knows you do this for a reason. I love huskies, malamutes, pitbulls and malinois sooooo much yet my girlfriend is allergic and we have a soon 2 years old golden doodle(still need to adopt him a friend)... I love him a lot but I miss the extreme zoomies lolll. I love your huskies and work!!! Keep it up Sixty Formula I will come back for your videos :)
I'm excited to try the turn your back method, my guy has been chewing everything lately and gets so excited over everything, would love for him To be able to learn to be calm
Your channel is my favorite RUclips channel! We don't have a television anymore, we quit watching it. Watching videos with our iPads is the best thing ever. I am glad that there is a channel for Siberian Huskies and their parents!
Dude my husky is calm most of the time when he sees people(never trained him that) the only problem is that outside he likes to stay 5 minutes looking to every single people!
Thank you for your channel. My daughter and I are getting our very first Husky Male puppy coming here really soon on September 13! We are so excited. we have watched 3 videos just in the past 30 min. you have great suggestions esp the peanut butter on the bath tub wall!!! very good idea. i am sure i will be asking tons of questions if i cant get answers from videos/group sites. Thank You
I have two huskies and when I walk them, one is sooo happy/excited he “talks” the whole time. It doesn’t bother me, but other people out walking their dogs don’t understand and think it’s about them or their dog and turn and walk away. I need a big sign that says “he’s just singing! It’s a husky thing!”
I love it when my little husky girl gets the “crazy eyes”. We just know she is ready to run all over the house and ya better look out. Hahahahaha Cheers!!!
I got a husky named tucker a couple days ago I’m so happy he’s my new bestie but he’s TOO energetic but that’s ok but somtimes I don’t have the time for him but I try my best.this video helped me a lot ty!
Love the channel. Would be rad if you could label clips so people that don’t have time can cut straight to the important parts. Food for thought. Thanks.
Turning around is honestly the easiest and best way to calm them down! My 9 month old husky hates when I do it. Hell automatically sit down and if I still face away a for more than a minute he’ll baby whine and then come check on me but is super nice and calm hahha
Perfect video, trying to calm down my border collie, just got him so he goes crazy when I come back from work. I take him quickly to the dog park but I need like 10 mins of calmness
My Puppers was wild when we had company, a knock on the door set him off, he was our doorbell. So when company was coming, we had them call first so we could meet them outside. He would pee circles around his human family, inside or out. Lots of talking and bouncing. Miss my Puppers everyday. RIP baby boy.
Just got my husky puppy cause of you and I met a lady with 3 and she said she lives in a apartment with them and train them and to watch RUclips video as well to not use pee pads so I just finish cleaning two poops and 4 pees and well so far he’s doing ok lol and well she said to take him out for walks too at night and in the morning and my boyfriend said I am not gonna be able to train the puppy inside but I’ll prove him wrong! So wish me luck
1. I used to walk away whenever my cat climbed too high up in a tree or climbed somewhere I didn't want him to climb. It was very effective! apparently with doggos too!

My husky is a lazy butt inside but outside she is nuts.
Lol same. Wonder why
Butt?????!?!?!?!!?!? *But
@@erikamolina6916 no… they meant butt lmao
Love your Husky,s and love my Husky Miss Lily we are so blessed with patience lol
Love this channel! How do you not have 1Million subs yet?
Just got a new siberian puppy ... we had one years ago.. but I totally forgot how cray cray they are during their adolescents 😆.
We also have a shihtzu *she's 3*. So far we've been hand feeding him, to avoid any food reactivity.
I have been watching your videos! They're great thank you 😊
I might get a husky this Christmas and I’ve been getting all my research about huskies from your channel, thanks.
Thankyou so much for your videos you mean the 🌎 to me
“Two little huskay boootays…” hilarious
I like the turning my back to my little fluffy guy and it does work, however he now will turn his back to me when he gets upset cause I won’t let him have his way. He’ll also pretend he’s not listening to me while he’s doing it which is so cute and funny
Thank you so much ❤️ my husky is so playful but sometimes it's hard to keep him calm, thank for these great ideas❤️ time to start training 😂💕
Thank you for another great, informative video. 👍🏼👏🏼

Today I ran with one hour with my husky and he still wanted to play after we came back home
Mine always has to potty because he was to busy running and pulling to do it on the walk.
OMG Thanks for the Tips ! 😆yay know I learned some great tricks to Simmer My Husky Down 😅
It's funny how a husky could pop any number of baby gates but knows you do this for a reason.
I've just got a husky and it worked!!!!!
I'm excited to try the turn your back method, my guy has been chewing everything lately and gets so excited over everything, would love for him To be able to learn to be calm
This is just genius...
Pure and Simp’e
I needed this before I watched this relaxing was non existent
Your channel is my favorite RUclips channel! We don't have a television anymore, we quit watching it. Watching videos with our iPads is the best thing ever. I am glad that there is a channel for Siberian Huskies and their parents!
Dude my husky is calm most of the time when he sees people(never trained him that) the only problem is that outside he likes to stay 5 minutes looking to every single people!
you're lucky.🤣
Congratulations Your one lucky man
Thank you for your channel.
Thank you so much for all the cool Videos:D
♡Britney✿Spears♡ always looks so happy~
☆Miss✿Hila☆ is always playful~
Love ur huskies♡
I am getting a grey white girl like Britney Spears soon♡♡
I love it when my little husky girl gets the “crazy eyes”. We just know she is ready to run all over the house and ya better look out. Hahahahaha Cheers!!!
Hahahaha! (I love the crazy eyes too!) Thank you so much for watching and sharing! You're the best!
I got a husky named tucker a couple days ago I’m so happy he’s my new bestie but he’s TOO energetic but that’s ok but somtimes I don’t have the time for him but I try my best.this video helped me a lot ty!
I love your videos!! 🐺❤️
Husky butt, hahahaha! That was one of my nicknames for my husky. Husky Butt, cotton head, Brute, Brutal Dude, I could keep going
Perfect video, trying to calm down my border collie, just got him so he goes crazy when I come back from work. I take him quickly to the dog park but I need like 10 mins of calmness
So goood is your channel. Your dogs are wonderful😁😁
The turn - your- back faces killed me dead!
LOL! Thank you so much for watching, it means the world to us! Glad you enjoyed!
Can u put ur guests into a crate waiting for the doggos to let u know when the guests can be let out of their crate? 😂🤣😳🐕🐕

1. I used to walk away whenever my cat climbed too high up in a tree or climbed somewhere I didn't want him to climb. It was very effective! apparently with doggos too!

Being new to your channel, I've often wondered why you always do the outro with Britney Spears (great name for a male dog btw 😂) and once or twice Roo and now I know haha. Why doesn't Hila like her nose being booped? It's part of the fun of having a dog lol. Anyway loving your channel, so will deffo keep watching xxx 💖🐾🐺🤗🥰😚😁😂
