Loved seeing what it’s like for you and Mackenz to teach in Thailand! It’s exciting to know that these kids WANT to learn… Oh I wish I was young again to have that opportunity! Thank you for sharing!!
Nice video man! What teaching certificate should I get? TEFL? I have my degree in education from the U.S. Also, is your 36k baht salary per month taxed?
from those who interest teaching english in local schools in thailand and considered a thousand dollars paycheck remains low but still love teaching english job in thialand they can go for extra money with a tuition english class for adults or students outside school whether after school hours or weekend and you can negotiate the limit for how many in a group and teach for 2 to 3 hours max. per class. i think even for thai english teachers they charge like 200-400 thb per hour per person but they pay higher for native speakers.
-show up on time -smile -don't you ever really try to teach druing the class, because those students don't want to learn anything at all. -paperwork -paperwork -paperwork -paperwork -dreescode
If you have a college degree, just look into teaching opportunities in the country you’d want to live and see if you match their requirements. Good luck🙏🏾
Thanks for the video. Do you think the monthly salary is still enough for a single person too? Do solo travelers split rent with other teachers or do they do fine on their own? For cost of living plus being able to travel on time off (weekends and holidays). Have you heard of any jobs in Thailand where they also provide housing? I've heard sometimes they do in Thailand? Thanks appreciate the insights. I know there are some Asian countries where you can make a lot more money and for sure have housing included but Thailand really seems more like the place I'd like to spend a longer time in.
Depending on what program you choose you might have certain benefits like housing, visa support etc. We didn’t bc we chose to go directly through the school. Vietnam, South Korea and China I believe offer more services like this.
Hi friend. If I have bachelor degree in English translation and Tefl Certificate and Ielts band score 7 and Ielts teaching Certificate . Can we find teaching jobs in thailand from our country or should meet the schools in person? I am from IRAN. And How much is the salary and how can have good salary if we have these certificate?
I have been in Thailand with Non-Ed visa (Learning Thai) and looking for a teaching position for about 4 months now. I'm about to give up tho. I have BSc in Information Technology, 120 TEFL, C1 English Proficiency, 1 & 1/2 year teaching experience back in my country. Still couldn't get hired. Competitions are fire here even in rural areas. I am in Nothern Thailand now
Yes we both have a bachelors degree! Not in anything related to teaching though, in most cases you just need to have a diploma to show you have graduated.
Is the woman your gf/wife? Did you meet her in Thailand or were you a couple before moving there? I ask because I heard it’s hard for couples to move together if one spouse if an English teacher. But it looks like both of you are? Also how old are you? I know it’s kinda personal questions so don’t answer if you don’t feel comfortable. Is the pay enough to justify working in Thailand? I heard China pays way more and also pays for rent.
You can’t get a work permit unless you have a university degree. Transcripts of Record and University Diploma are the main requirements for you to be given a work permit and working visa.

This is so informative ,thank you for sharing your a day in your world with us.

Do you create the lesson plans on your own or does the school assistant that?
If you do create it on your own, how do you decide to go about it?
Awesome video bro, wishing you all the best.
What are the steps you did to become a teacher in Thailand I’ve been wanting to do this myself for a while now
Nice video man! What teaching certificate should I get? TEFL? I have my degree in education from the U.S. Also, is your 36k baht salary per month taxed?
I would recommend a TEFL! We have to pay a small portion (1K) for insurance but that’s about it!

@evanhailes are you tutoring for extra money or is that a requirement for the teaching job?
@@user-yd4tg4xw4k most teachers do some tutoring on the side for extra income! Not required but definitely recommended
how did you get to teach in these countries

Dude ill probably need a motorbike or scooter 🛵. What were the costs including petrol every month?
We paid 5000 baht for the bike alone plus maybe 1000 baht on gas
Hey bro can you help me to find teaching job in Thailand. I am an English teacher from Russia now in Philippine
Awesome
I"m 72, have a BA and a TESL ( soon a US teacher certificate), Can I get work?
Absolutely you can
Following - Im in my 50's with degrees, certificates and experience and wondering whether older folk can get work as well.
I think you should look into it more because some countries have an age limit. I don’t know if Thailand is one of them.
I’m afraid schools in Thailand don’t really accept teachers who are over 65 years old.😢
@@leonardmuaklek3312 what about non-government schools?
Why is the age limit set at 45? This seems strange to me as lots of retired teachers would be interested.
I ain’t gonna lie she looks like she hates it
She is a real beauty, just a bit reluctant to be on the camera it seems. Which is understandable - being a youtuber is not everyone's idea of fun.
