I have qualified UGC NET in three different disciplines ( Geography, economics and archeology) but still I'm unemployed here and during PhD interview there's a huge politics even though you have jrf also you should have a strong political connections.
Pursuing a PhD is a great thing but when you are already faculty in college and you get a good pay scale and not a burden from your HOD and Management.
