Greetings from Bulgaria,i am from a town named vidin and we have magnificent sinangogue,wich we were waiting to be renovated since 1989,cause the comunists neglected it for too long and used the building for warehouse,the good news is that the beautiful iron columns made in vienna were not stolen and the new mayor did it along with the bulgarian jews organisstion named shalom,who donated the building to the municipality,you can goigle it it is one of the biggest in europe and they used to call it the white swan of the danube,after ww2 all the jews from bulgaria left for israel....now it is a cultural center and there is a part left for the jews to gather if they wish,the center is named after the prominent vidin citizen from jewish origin named jul paskin,i dont know if you heard of him.....god bless
