BICATA, 3,000 ordinary Colombians own it, made up of office space, apartments, and hotel. I believe hotel is not completed yet. Also. Recommend LA Candelaria, historical area of Bogota, very cool and hipster.
What about the safety factor? I’ve only been to Cartagena…..actually going again next month, but I’ve always been interested in visiting Bogota. It’s just that I’ve heard rumors that Bogota is the least safest city to visit especially being a gringo…Also Black. I’ve always felt Safe in Cartagena though.
The city reminds me of Denver. Very beautiful place from what I’ve seen. Without being conceded the people seem more professional all the way to the street venders. Keep pumping out the videos this place has my interest!

Ace I highly recommend doing a guided walking tour in that centre. Goes for a couple of hours and is really interesting and worthwhile and you learn the history and all the sites. Best of all it is free. Just book online look up Bogota walking tour. They usually meet up in front of the gold museum. I loved it.

I live in Miami and I’m going back to Bogota in mid January, I love the food in Bogota, try the “Asados Llaneros” that’s the bbq meats from Bogota that’s my favorite food food from Colombia, their meat cuts are fresh and fall of the bone type. The “asaderos” (bbq placers) are all over the city at a great price, I pay around 25 USD for 3 people when I go there. Andres Carme de Res is a cool place but overpriced, you’re not paying for the food and drinks, you’re paying for the local and the ambience which is awesome. I’ll be back there in Jan for a couple days. Be careful and be safe man, Jwaye Noel!!!
@@marcotheexplorer5847 I have the receipt somewhere. I can not say they were the best but the process cost me about $65 USD. I figured how hard was it to clean teeth. They did a decent job though. I would prob go to Cali to get the work done because everything seems cheaper there than Bogata.

You see when you don’t about the danger, it’s better for you I guess. I was once out there with a Colombian family, they knew about the dangers. They wouldn’t even let me take a picture with my phone. And they were very serious about it.

Take for example the young lady you just had dinner with in Bogota, she suggested restaurants and nightlife.it’s not about checking out the females for me, I like to learn about the socializing, entertainment, and cooking(basically a 1st hand look at the culture).
