Sounds like a saint we need today
St. Vincent Ferrer, literally one of the greatest Saints of the Intellect as well as the miraculous, preached that simple childlike obedience to the Church was the only safeguard to apostasy. This is why the Grace of obedience to the Church and her deposit of Faith is such a treasure that should be fearfully guarded. The secular moderns are horrified by such childish obedience. This should give us pause to think. Whatever the modern secular atheists are horrified by is usually the exact thing Satan is horrified at.

It is that the end of times really seems to have begun at that time, from then on the Church came into decline, and now we are at the end of that process.
Why are Catholics not routinely taught about the amazing miracles of the saints?
Because some Church men in the early 1960's in their hubris thought that what the Catholic Church needed was to be more like protestantism and also they reasoned, if we take away the "obstacles' to Catholicism we can bring them in as one big Church. The "obstacles" they removed were things like miracles and saints and statues lifelike statues, not the fake wood colored "we don't want protestants to think we worship statues" statues, sacred music, true belief in the real presence of our Lord in the Holy Euchraist, etc, etc. The traditional Catholic movement is trying to roll it back and reverse everything but it's not easy to discover all that you've lost.

My older brother also joined us and said the same thing. I pray that others are blessed with the grace to find the True Mass!

Catholic families pass on the lives of the saints and not the sermons of the priests. That is one of the blessings of being a righteous Catholic in a family. Also no Catholic is ever required to believe in any private revelation. Even a well known church approved Marian Apparition like Lourdes or Fatima must be believed. Such things are all private revelations. Heretics all exist outside the true church, the one, holy, Catholic and Apostolic church, so few among them ever know the truth.
