There's a 5/8 bolt in the bottom of most steering boxes used to bleed/drain the fluid out of the system. Remove the bolt...fluid comes out. You need to do as he did in the video to bleed all the air out. I had to add a little to mine after driving it all week after replacing the power steering pump.
The title said how to bleed system and I don't know what the heck that was, there was no bleeding out of the system, all it was just to top it off with fluid wth! I was waiting to see how the bleed out process was when it didn't happen.
@@TRUCKINGTIPSDIY where did you go with the old fluid? Bleeding isn’t just changing what’s in the container, it’s changing what’s in the gearbox and pump also, as well as all the lines. You didn’t bleed anything you simply changed the fluid in the bottle.

Please check the service manual , I only know for TRW and Sheppard , there is a bleed screw 1/8 Allen wrench needed
Nice..but from the begining it was already at min level...didnt see it go down from where it was..
what if I dont have acces to a jack stands. can I still bleed it with the tires on the ground?
If the system is completely drain is best if you lift it, if you're adding oil and bleeding on the ground should be fine
What did I just watch? How to top off power steering fluid?
how to bleed system

This is one of 2 ways to get air out of the system.

How do you change all the old fluid out of it??
You can change the oil by bringing it to the garage.

Or you have different way which I m not familiar
You use transmission fluid
What if I don't have a jack?
You need it to remove the air properly. Bottle jack stand 20ton works amazing
This not how to bleed my friend, what you just did is topping of steering oil. The process of bleeding is releasing air out or the steering system.
this is one way to bleed the system trust me. it works
Wrong. This is how you bleed a system that doesn't have a bleeder screw. 🤡
🤡 change the title of your video, thats not how you bleeding the system.
No this not how to bleed
Wrong. This is exactly how you bleed a system without a bleeder screw. 🤡
