Thank you Kenneth - I work away from home & one of the guys in my lodgings spoke with my wife & I & we prayed with him, then he asked if we would go to church - so my wife came down for the weekend & we went to a little church we found on the internet.. It's near Everton football club in Liverpool - a poor part of town. The church is run by several folk under or in their thirties. He really liked it. I've been praying how to encourage him to life without slappin' a religious straitjacket on him. Then I came across these foundational words.. Thank you. Can you all pray for Mick.. Maybe out of Ps 34 & these words from Colossians 1 today & that his eyes are opened to what he is stepping into.. And away from.. by being soaked in the word & the Spirit & soon baptism in water(we haven't broached that topic yet).. & that we get wisdom not to crush him with religious burdens but speak words of life to set him free.. (Excuse me i get verbose when i leave my job at the end of the day!)
