- I came to the campsite for snow camping and bushcraft camping.I prepared a winter survival shelter with bushcraft skills in freezing cold.There was no snowstorm today, just snowfall at night.Thanks to the campfire, I managed to survive all night.

So many big pines with low branches that give good natural cover,yet i never see them being utilized as shelter. It's an easy job to use branches from dead trees entwined in living branches to make a simple and warm shelter. I was caught in a snowstorm 40 years ago on my motorcycle while traveling with a friend in the Rocky Mountains and we did that. A small fire under the branches, sometimes starting our bikes for warmth. Kept us reasonably warm and dry for 2 days and 3 nights.
Oh dear, is it not cold to sleep outside without tent and sleeping bag at all? 😢 i hope you guys always take care for each others😊but it's a nice camp with the snowy view...have a nice weekend❤love for your lovely dog😊

The dog suddenly disappeared at night. He was gone all night. He came back in the morning. I couldn't understand anything :(

Hello, good morning. What I ate with the snow was molasses. The smell of pine and its tea were wonderful. No, he wasn't watching. My dog suddenly disappeared at night. I understood why you cut the evergreen to get you up off the snow, but wondered why you did not. It more to cover yourself with when sleeping. You must have very warm under layers on under your clothing.
The reason I don't cut trees to protect myself is; Some were icy and damp. I didn't cut them because I thought I would get wet if I covered them. Even though the clothes I wear are not very thick, they keep me warm.
Note: It is more dangerous to dress thicker than necessary in cold weather :)
