Hi Sylvee, you can mold silicone pieces with silicone, but you want a really good mold release. Preferably a mold release specifically designed for silicone in silicone molds if possible.
An easy solution to your issue separating the laminator sheets, is to put a small piece of packing tape, on both the front and back of one corner (careful not to let the two pieces stick to each other), then gently pull the corners away from each other. The layers should come apart easily!
