Arcane Mage Solo Shuffle grind (1000-2100, 437ilvl, no Teir) *Pure Gameplay*

Well I think the video title sums it up pretty well lol, short story long I wanted to grind out some solo shuffle in basically all honor gear like I did last season with another mage alt. I knew I'd have to get the precog boots just to have that hugely important skill since it's no longer the talent option, and I got a couple other conquest pieces through my weekly vault from early in the season when I was grinding out honor to gear up but I never converted them into teir pieces. So overall I still had a 437pvp ilvl which is what a full honor set would give. Last season when i did this I never bothered to record simply cause I just wasn't recording much anyways but I got around 18-1900 which is what I kind of expected to get this time around but then I hit 1800 and realized I was still up around 2k mmr and pushing up somewhat easy so I kept going and before I knew it 2100 was looking pretty doable lol so here's to all the people who are grinding shuffle but feeling stuck at a rating, never doubt what you're able to do. Mistakes happen by you or your team always, you are going to go 0-6 or 1-5 sometimes and bounce right back with a 5-1 but don't think that there's never anything you can do to win, recording and looking back on moments in your games can be your biggest tool to getting better. When in doubt I always fall back on my #1 rule, Never die. Become a livelord, doing damage is not your #1 priority if you're the kill target, I'd rather have 20k dps overall and live a few minutes to give my team the chance to pump into the enemy hard and create the perfect opportunity to burst someone down in a few seconds rather than push 90k dps in the opener and die in 30 sec cause I think I needed to pop defensives.
So to wrap this up, practicing is never not a goal. If your rating doesn't change much after a days grind, you still learned something in the process and that's your W
Stay positive. If you're not having a good time, just walk away and take a break, the game will still be there when you get back I promise ^^
