We can do this together. I'm so happy I'm able to help other teachers. I initially started doing videos to share with my school and had no idea other teachers would also want to watch them. Let me know if you need any help.
Thank you so much for making these videos! There is so little out there geared for those of us working with Schoology and Microsoft products. Finding your channel has been such a gift!
Hi, I've learned that each district chooses which drives they use. Mine only uses OneDrive but others use Google Drive as well. Go to Submit Assignment and you'll see which options they offer.
You can put it as a background on powerpoint and insert text boxes in the front. I will make a video about this. Great idea, this is something teachers can do with their worksheets and pdfs.
In the description of the video. Under the video it has a description but then there is a button that says "show more" click that and you'll see all the links.
My student got a message saying: “we couldn’t load your document because there is a problem with your instructors account, please ask your instructor to reconnect their account to schoology” and when she tried to click edit it said please wait until your file is created... any ideas?
Yes this same problem happened to me during the summer. It had something to do with my onedrive not being linked to my schoology. I had to submit a ZENDESK report and they fixed it for me. Contact the IT in your district and let them know.
@@sylviaavila517 next to file there are 3 dots and it gives you options. Then click on manage access and there you can change it from private to shared. I realized I had to refresh and then you see the change.
@@EmmaBalansay Hi, it does not give me the option to change it from private to shared. I have clicked on manage access, share, everything and nothing is working to create an assignment and for it to open for my students. It says there's no permission granted. Can you be more specific with the steps to make it shareable?
When I click on OneDrive Assignments in Schoology, it says "There are currently no items in this collection." I have lots of files in OneDrive...why aren't they showing up? Am I missing a step? Any help would be appreciated!
I figured it out...I had to sign out of OneDrive in Schoology and sign back in, and when I did that it asked for permission to access my OneDrive, and then all my files popped up. Thanks!
Thank you so much! Your video was exactly what I was looking for! :)
At 4 am I am struggling and this is life for me. Thank you soooo much. You have a RUclips and TPT follower/supporter for life.

I agree with you. I'm liking Schoology more and more as time goes by. Have a great school year!
I am loving all of your schoology tips. I really struggled with it in the spring. You're helping me to make this so much more accessible!
I'm so glad!
Your videos are emmazing!!! They are easy to use and things I actually need to survive this school year.
thanks for the help.
Emma! This was super helpful, thank you for sharing.
I'm so glad!
Can this activity be done on google slides?
Is this doable with Google G Suite or only OneDrive?

Hi Emma. Very useful tutorial. I have other pdf files that I'll like to utilize, how do you make them editable through Schoology? Thank you

Where do I find the resources you mentioned that are available?

Help please. That does not show up for my students.
What is the total number of pages included in the All About Me SlideShow?
6 and with cover page with their name 7
Once my students complete the activity, how do they submit it back to me?
They have a submit button on their end.
@@EmmaBalansay that is awesome! Thank you!
@@ashleyglanville1714 If you're familiar with Google Classroom this is the equivalent of it.

Emma Balansay thank you so much for the quick response! My students are going nuts 😅
@@egschweitzer No problem. I kept trying everything on my end when it happened to me and then after they went in there it suddenly worked.
Will this also work with Google Drive? I want to streamline what I use and all students already have Google Drive and have used it in the past.
Yes and the link includes Google Slide for Google Classroom. We use One Drive in my district but I included both powerpoint and Google Slides
I've done everything in this video, but it is not giving my students the option to "Edit". It only has the button the Submit Assignment.
When you see the assignment on your one drive make sure it is not private.
Emma Balansay Hi. How do you make it so it’s not private?. I tried but everything I click on doesn’t change it.

Oh good. Yes and also when your kids log in it will ask them for username and password the first time.
