Whilts &dorset Optare Bus moving at the Stokes Bay Bus Rally

Is an Optare Excel Bus a great looking bus
I wasn’t able to get much filming done at this Rally as I was working with First Bus Solent
Had a great day chatting with loads of people of all ages showing them around the buses.
Most of the people are local to the area so they get on our buses on a daily basis but they loved getting up closer to the large machines.
Even stinky in the drivers cab and we would explain to them what each button and switch would do
This Optare Excel is privately owned like a lot of the buses that were here on display
They even got to go out on a parade around Gosport out of the 62 buses that were at the show 40 of them hit the streets for a moving display
Unfortunately didn’t get any footage. But was mightily impressive from vintage to todays buses
We even had Blue Star (Southampton based) come for the first time with 6 of their buses. And stagecoach turned up with 5
We had 6 on display on behalf of First Bus Solent
