STOP‼️ Please remove those yellow thick skin from the knuckles of the chicken legs before you put Olive oil and season them. This is the reason people in the Caribbean clean and wash their meat. The end result is good.❤
I’m telling u 😏. I’m from New Orleans and we do the same.. I hate to be Debbie downer but you read my mind on that one.. wash , clean whatever u wanna call it .. please!! And thank u
Bake at 400 for 45 minutes and 3 to 5 minutes under thr broiler otherwise those legs would be dry they should be juicy from the inside and crispy from the outside.
Bake them on a wire rack with just seasoning and while they're baking get some BBQ sauce going, when the skin is crisp and chicken is done, toss in the sauce and broil till sticky or desired doneness
Salmonella, Campylobacter and other harmful bacteria live on raw chicken. Washing or rinsing doesn't remove this risk, it worsens it by helping the bacteria spread. When you add water through washing or rinsing, you give these bacteria a way to travel throughout your kitchen.
I always feel like putting bbq sauce over a already seasoned chicken is such a waste. It masks all the seasoning u just did. Just me personally , id leave the bbq sauce on the side for those who want to dip in after. If the seasoning is good enough for ur pallet , the bbq just soils it. *spongebob voice* SOILED IT! 😂❤
You know it’s about to taste amazing when the chef says “rub that ish in”
They look finger licking good! 👍 And I like the spice/seasoning assortment you used
I love barbecue chicken but hate the wet skin so transferring it onto the rack and broiling them was awesome.

What's the point of washing if the high temperature will kill the bacteria anyways? Genuinely wondering.
