Indeed, very insightful and helpful especially for the substantial Uganda diaspora who want to invest home but using formal ways as opposed to the normal situation of entrusting family and/or friends.
Best seven steps ever,Talk about being enlightened, thank you for quoting the UG land laws, legality is extremely important. Great work,I look forward to more from team wallet.👏🏾
Your Lawyer will help you bypass the Foreigner-leasehold thing. BY GETTING YOU a NIN number citizen by registration, or you register a company with 51% non transferable shares given to a quasi Ugandan partner.
How long does this whole process take please. Especially for those of us on short brief visits to Uganda? Great video by the way it’s very detailed and informative.
It really depends on your team on average it should take a month. If your on a short stay some of the process can be done remotely but you need to be around for the site visits and surveying. Your lawyer and real estate agent can help with the rest.
Wow, so only leasehold is available ? That isn't great, why would anyone invest in leased land ? Doesn't make sense to spend money building and creating a business structure if it has to be held by someone else, lol.
