Blowing up eggs, jumping on trampolines and putting Mentos in Coke. You're one of the few channels that's still retained its original feeling since day 1. I would love to see the CD done again in slow motion with 2 CDs in the Microwave staked on top of each other like pancakes. About 20 years ago I had a job where no one at the company liked the microwave and we had an abundant of old and or dead CD-r disks around. I found that stacking 1 on top of another one that the little arcs and plasma things would actually levitate the CD that was on top... This would be so cool to see again, especially done by you guys. Daniel and Gavin. I have been subscribed to your channel for almost a decade now. I remember watching your first videos about dropping mugs, popping popcorn and smashing lighters. I’m 25 years old now, and still watch every single video you put out. You two have been such a big part of my teenage years, and watching your videos and immerse myself into your universe has really helped me through some tough times. Your lovely friendship, your humor, and your passion for science is such an inspiration. Please keep doing what you’re doing ❤
Much, much love from Denmark 🇩🇰

I think this should be revisited with not just a CD-R but also with a CD-RW and a store bought Music CD since they are all made out of different materials. CD-RW have a crystal in them that melts and then re-hardens when the laser is blasts it. I would think it would look completely different then a CD-R.

When you ran it at 80k you can see as the metallic material tears in one direction, the electric spark appears to be perpendicular to the direction of the tear, a spark across the gap. Almost like a Jacob's ladder. This is seriously one of the coolest looking things you've ever filmed. That first set of shots would make such an awesome looping desktop background video.
