@falchulk No it isn't. Most of Titus' followers these days share his political views, too. Besides, it's the right these days that are full of wussies who don't feel safe unless they carry a gun on them everywhere they go. Bunch of cowards.
@falchulk Why bring politics in this? None of Titus' comedy was Left or Right leaning. It was just his story (though comedians have a tendency to exaggerate for a better joke). "Leftys" aren't offended by this show or anything that's said in it. "We" understand that times change. If you want to be dumb and stereotype "us", then I'll go back at you with this. I like Christine Esterbrook (the one who played Juanita on "Mom's Not Nuts") because it's closest to how the real Juanita was (a beautiful, charming multitalented woman whose good features go away when she either goes on a manic episode and tries to kill people or a depressive episode and drinks herself into a zombie-like state).

I don't know if it was intentional or not, but using a different actress every time Juanita shows up after a while, makes it easier to forget the horrible things she did previously.
Yeah I don't know if they intentionally recast her in reference to her multiple personality or not but it does fit with the dark humor of the show to do that as a reference and/or running gag. His stand up even talks about how different her personalities were.
@@GrimmShadowsII I truly doubt it was intentional, but it works so well with the character. After the 1 season the original mom wasn't available to come back for the 2nd season.so they got a new mom, and decided to change mom's every season to show the split personality. At least that what they said in the episode with commentary on the DVD.
I admire Titus for finding love for his horrible mother. I hope i reach a level of maturity where i can feel the same for all of my parents and step-parents. 😅
At least we know Dave's last name now. Connie Stevenson was the worst of the three Juanita Titus' which pains me to say because my own mother's name was Connie. Frances Fisher was perfect but I guess she couldn't make it to this episode.
Titus said his mother had multiple personalities and even he didn't know he was inside the "vessel". he wanted to portray that in the show with multiple actresses who were similar to that phase in her life. lately she committed suicide. The father is the same just younger or older. but always the same.
This show exists so dysfunctional people can play Bingo with it. I came so close to my bingo card being full, but my mom was too incompetent to actually pull off the murder, so I only have "Attempted murder". That did leave me with the "Testify against your mother in court" square filled, though.
I still love this show to this day. They were a bit inconsistent with Erins personality in order to fit the scene direction they wanted it seems like though. For instance, up until this episode, she didn't have trouble lying when she understood the consequences of the truth.
As a guy who's watching this for the first time, who has seen all of Titus's specials but has not lined them up with the events in the series, I can't help but wonder does this change Titus's mom's fate because sitcom on Fox or does what eventually happens to her in real life just happen later?
