The flower and the "cloth creature we have never seen before" are actually from the developer's previous games. The strange creature is called snake and is from Flow, while the flower is from Flower
It may be a stretch but the trophy is called ancestors and it pops when you discovered the snake so does that mean that the snake will eventually grow into one of the cloth creatures? Or does it mean that the cloth creatures evolved from the snake?
@@MrLoverman7134 no, it means Flow was their first game. The birth of the author’s gaming career. An ancestor to journey. It fits well, because the creature is supposed to be a primitive creature. But it has nothing to do with the cloth creatures. These were created, and did not evolved from anything.
Thanks for this video btw im a naturally forgetful goob who also smokes 😂 so this saved me time cause I have a trophy hunter in me first then I just explore. After I played through this in the dark the first time of course. But i ran into the coolest person who carried me through several trophies 😂 in my first play-through. This game really helped my mental state as well 😂 calm. Also if you’re wondering, it seems the games relatively active. I played on PS3 in 4/13/23 and run into players. And it’s short enough for me to just say “eh time to play through Journey” 😂 I hate on games too much but nothing feels like games made before 2017, for me at least. But i don’t play enough variety of games so I wouldn’t know. Sorry guess I just ramble even in text, my bad if you can’t understand my mishmash southerner text I’m a little discombobulated.
This was incredibly helpful, especially in the desert!! I was worried bc of one of the other comments but honestly besides the fact that I kept running out of flight, this made it super easy to find everything!! Now to find some people to play the whole thing through with....

Wish you didn't cut content. It's difficult to figure out where you are in the desert in relation to the mountain when you don't show the full journey. I got lost 3x and still can't find the other cloth creature, gonna have to use another guide.
I tried my best to make it as simple as possible dude, the desert is a pain in the arse to navigate even when you know what yoir doing. I have to cut it because otherwise it ends up an insanely long video but hopefully someone else can you, thanks for checking out the video anyway 🤘🏻
Thanks for making this video. When I played the game by myself the first time, I didn’t know the other players were real people online. I thought they were npcs put in for world building! Hah!
So far the guide is good, and its really helpful. My dad said when he first played it, he found one of the white robe guys, so thats how he told me to look up a guide 😓
I finally got to play this game ever since I added to my library when it was free lol just had no time to play it until now. Very good guide man I did all the trophies except the companion in about an hour and 20 minutes because of the cut scenes
Now all I need is to slide correctly and meet about 6 more people for platinum. Could have sworn the White Costume was for 100% completion, knowing it's not I am changing immediately
This is one of those games that I can always recommend to anyone. Got it on PS3 shortly after it came out and now found it on Steam at a serious discount and am hoping to record the experience but I think OBS is making the poor game stutter like crazy

Thanks dude im glad it helped 🤙🏻. Easy way to get them trophies is to start at the snow chapter, wait for a random to show up and then finish the last two chapters. You should pop the co-op trophies then.

I chapter select to the snow level and waited at the beginning for a while and eventually someone popped in and I followed them to the end to get all multiplayer trophies. They were a trophy hunter after I looked at their profile lol, and they also did the meditation trophy. Now I have 100% on Journey. And I subbed btw. :)
Can someone tell me if it’s possible to return to the chapter selection when i got all symbols? I had to make a 3rd run bc in the 2nd i missed a symbol. If i got it and went to next map and try to go to chapters, do i loose all progress?
The chapter select is at the desert, during the beginning of the game. Go into each of the temples and find the symbols or glyphs you missed, you'll be able to tell quite easily the ones your missing
No worries dude, im glad the video helped. Companion is done easiest by playing from the snow chapter and waiting for someone to join your game then finishing the game with that same person. Your best bet is to keep trying youll get it eventually

Finish the game and you can go back through a chapter select. Anything you've missed you'll be able to go back and get. I show you on the video how to do it 🤘🏻
will that clock creature (i think thats what u said), automatically appear? on the 2nd floor bc unless i messed up a certain order i have to do, in order to make it appear? or maybe i was on the 3rd floor or something..... main point is im alittle confused
After you have activated all the story glyphs in this level (basically just before you can finish the level) head back down to the bottom of the tower and into either floor 2 or floor 3 i can't remember which now, but you'll find a skeletal style cloth creature floating around.
I think your guide is great. I tried the game, but on the second symbol, I can press x as many times as I want, he just wont jump. What do I do wrong -,-
The more symbols you collect the longer you are able to jump. Once the power of your scarf is done you need to recharge it. So use your jumping wisely 🤘

Once you have finished the game you should see the chapter select option appear? If not you can start a new journey and then you'll have access to all the portals for each chapter at the beginning. Im glad you found the video helpful dude thanks for taking the time to watch it 🤘🏻
Really great guide thanks! Only thing that got me confused was TRIALS. Tried it twice and trophy did not pop after I prayed at the end. You need to actually walk in to the next room to get the trophy to pop

Sorry dude got them trophies mixed up, for the Transecendent trophy you need to have collected al other symbols throughout the game, so depending on where the last symbol you need is, is where you'll pop the trophy.
Just about to start the second surf dude, i show where i just come from same place as we got the symbol and glyph, just freed the cloth creatures thats all 🤙🏻

I use pc and haven't seen any tutorials getting the white scarf but my theory is that if I complete all the levels completely it'll be an option and I'll then be able to explore this one part in the underground spot
There are spinning disks at the top of this one section where you see the solidified monsters and you can fly up to each platform where the next statue lies. At the very top, you'll find spinning disks that you prolly need a white cape length cape to get on otherwise you can only get that far with another player
It's not the easiest as tgere is no way of communicating with somebody and tgey are random which doesn't help when trophy hunting in this game. Keep at it though dude you'll get the online trophies eventually 🤙🏻

In the last chapter, you can also avoid the first guardian part by hugging the mountain wall far left. It won’t see you.

Sorry dude got them trophies mixed up, for the Transecendent trophy you need to have collected al other symbols throughout the game, so depending on where the last symbol you need is, is where you'll pop the trophy.

I missed the glyph and symbol just before the snow level. Damn it! Am I screwed?
You can revisit any chapter after you have finished the game, you can grab any symbols and glyphs you missed then 🤘🏻

Using chapter select is fine, you'll find another player either way

I use pc and haven't seen any tutorials getting the white scarf but my theory is that if I complete all the levels completely it'll be an option and I'll then be able to explore this one part in the underground spot
There are spinning disks at the top of this one section where you see the solidified monsters and you can fly up to each platform where the next statue lies. At the very top, you'll find spinning disks that you prolly need a white cape length cape to get on otherwise you can only get that far with another player
You get the white cape by getting all the symbols in each level
In the surfing sand section you can jump on these horizontal pillars too
And in the tower area I wanna try jumping thru the roof
I hate online players 😔
It's not the easiest as tgere is no way of communicating with somebody and tgey are random which doesn't help when trophy hunting in this game. Keep at it though dude you'll get the online trophies eventually 🤙🏻

I got every trophy but I didn't still didn't get platinum?
There is no platinum trophy for this game unfortunately dude, only a hundred percent completion.
If I did not get the symbols and glyphs, do I have to restart the game or repeat a chapter?
Finish the game dude and you get a chapter select, then head back to the level you missed the glyphs and symbols in 👍🏻
