I don't like how the regular version looks. It's very obvious it's made of plastic and all the details kind of blend together ajd disappear but this is just beautiful. It's a shame this isn't the default.

I think something I can compare it too is how some robots have really intricate details and obviously robotic components like the Transformers from the Bay movies and the recent Movies version of the Dino Megazord. Then you get the toys and it's all plastic making it look flat. The chrome in this makes at all the detail pop more and sells that this is a robot better.

the chrome plating is both a beauty and a pain to take care as in the risk of it being worn off, Bandai is kinda smart at not applying them to the joints and connection ports.
