I’m a new subscriber and binged all of your videos. I appreciate the content it has been very helpful. I recently entered the digitizing space after being a embroidered patch seller on etsy for some time. I want to make customs and tired of having to constantly revise digitize files with “contractors”. I’ve been practicing with this version of hatch for a few weeks now and thinking about purchasing it. I do have some questions if you could answer I will appreciate it.
1) Can you renew the trial version of hatch if you just boot another VM? (virtual machine)
2) How do you find clients for your digitizing service? (Though I’m planning using hatch for my own personal business. I wouldn’t mind getting paid to digitize other people’s files to compensate for the program being it’s expensive.)
3) How do you compete with overseas prices being the labor is cheap and where you can find 3rd party digitizing services like on fiverr?

I’m currently in the process of getting back into RUclips , I’m so sorry I missed your comment! I’m more than happy to answer these questions for you. You can renew your trial on any laptop that has never downloaded hatch before. After that, the software remembers to IP address and disables a new trial for that laptop. I find all of my clients on Etsy! I have a shop on there and I offer custom digitizing. I post more frequently on tiktok than I do on RUclips. But I have been able to funnel customers from social media to my Etsy shop. That is how I’d say I’ve been able to compete with the overseas pricing. I also try to have more of a personable relationship with my clients to build that trust. People have been scammed by some digitization services so I go out of my way to show people that I am a real person lol. I feel like this also sets me apart from over seas and fiverr!

Hi , I just found your channel and i also had Composer. May i ask you how you export SVG cutting file?
Because i can not find the way to export Svg cut file for applique that i digitized via Composer by order the 1st sequence as placement and so on , when i try to export cut file the Applique Shapes function always turn gray and can not click

I wish I could offer some assistance!! I do not use the software for SVG cutting files so unfortunately I do not have any knowledge to share on this topic. I’d try going onto the hatch site and going through the FAQ and courses they offer! Every time I get stumped in the software I spend hours on hatch.com to find the answer lol
