@@kizrgd Before Munich agreement Czechoslovakia had like 20x more Soldiers due to Trianon limiting Hungarian numbers and also because it had like half of Czechoslovak population. Czechoslovakia had some of the best tanks in Europe as shown by Germans who used them against Poland and France and later against Soviets and also had some of the strongest military production and exports in the world and was one of the strongest economies on the planet. Hitler himself stated that Czech industry is the reason he needs to control Czechoslovakia. Of course Hungary was nowhere near that. Czechoslovakia was vastly more industrialized than rest of Austria-Hungary in 1918 and while Hungary was considered loosing side and had some bad news to hear in 1918, Czechia immediately started trading and industrial cooperation with France and Romania. Not to mention that Czech army absolutely crushed Hungarian army in 1919 while also fighting multiple other enemies at the same time (like half of our soldiers were still in Russia fighting against the reds and controlling Siberia and another part of our army was in a war against Poland.

Horthy was in a really bad place,because hungary was strong enough to be significant(and thus,an enemy that was prioritized in the WWs over smaller countries),but not strong enough to be a world power.

@@kizrgd Before Munich agreement Czechoslovakia had like 20x more Soldiers due to Trianon limiting Hungarian numbers and also because it had like half of Czechoslovak population. Czechoslovakia had some of the best tanks in Europe as shown by Germans who used them against Poland and France and later against Soviets and also had some of the strongest military production and exports in the world and was one of the strongest economies on the planet. Hitler himself stated that Czech industry is the reason he needs to control Czechoslovakia. Of course Hungary was nowhere near that. Czechoslovakia was vastly more industrialized than rest of Austria-Hungary in 1918 and while Hungary was considered loosing side and had some bad news to hear in 1918, Czechia immediately started trading and industrial cooperation with France and Romania. Not to mention that Czech army absolutely crushed Hungarian army in 1919 while also fighting multiple other enemies at the same time (like half of our soldiers were still in Russia fighting against the reds and controlling Siberia and another part of our army was in a war against Poland.
