Some men are holding on to Nigeria tradition or culture, in the saying that; "u need your father's blessing in your marriage....." bla-bla-bla! That is a lie from the bottom pit of hell!!! When I was getting married, I told the family that I don't want to see him at my wedding, what blessing has he got to give me when he was never there while I was growing up? My wedding was celebrated without him, someone else took his position ( because that is what he prayed for when he abandoned me so he shouldn't expect anything better) Ever since I got married, I have been doing well, my mother, my husband likewise my children . So what the hell is the shameless man looking for now in the life of this girl? Where was he all these years? Why is he just coming out now? How much has he contributed in the life of that girl? Women should learn how not to consider men who refuse to take up their responsibilities on their children. They should stop forcing culture or tradition on the children against their wishes.
