Sombron has shown morality and such will NOT have a foothold in his decisions if it gets in the way of his endgame! The man killed his own kids for ANY perceived or actual failures as "Defects" wouldn't put it past him! Would be funny if my Fridge Horror is correct and one of those Female Divine Dragon's was Alear's mother! Would play off that Sombron's blood was stronger, hence their Red hair and eyes, but that bloodline while strengtening her Fell Powers in syncing with Emblems, it also made it easy for Lumera to use her own Divine Energy to have a foothold in inverting Alear's Fell Dragon Nature into Divine Dragon! There was already a "soil for it to be planted in" from their birth mother's heritage! But as shown in the BAD Ending, Sombron can just as easily purge Divine Energy with Fell Energy just the same! He did it with the Emblems as remember "NOT" VEYLE never really uses invocations to summon Emblems. The only one you see AND hear on screen awakening the Emblems is Sombron and Alear! Even Evil Veyle despite having the stolen Emblem Rings never invoked them, Sombron did (Something tells me Sombron being Sombron, didn't even trust NOT Veyle enough to teach her how to invocate, seeing as "the last child he taught how to do that betrayed him" despite the Evil Princess being devoted to him!) It's also how Nel put it, "Justify" their non-relations! Alt Sombron is a native to his Elyos, meaning genetically, while they are similar, their are enough differences that incest or family connection between Nel & Rafal and Alear & Veyle are so minor to non-existent, it doesn't even matter with relations (Helps more that Alt Veyle and Alt Alear are NOT siblings as Alt Alear is a FULL Divine Dragon by birth instead of infusion, and Alt Veyle was STILL good, just as Alt Sombron was still a "filicide-ing Psychopath" at least one thing is clear! No version of Sombron ever lived or died happily because of their POS behavior and actions in the long run) plus I can get Nel's reasoning for NOT wanting to pursue a sibling relationship so easily! Seeing how it feels implied Sombron and Alt Sombron may have even ENCOURAGED by their actions siblings being "weary of each other!" Alear could lower their guard around Veyle because she was too young to be any type of threat to them! But the other siblings, don't think so if they wanted to avoid dying through "other means besides death by pissing Daddy off for whatever reasoning" I'm sure Sombron killed a child for simply "BREATING WRONG!" @Iamnobody As a reminder, Sombron had MANY mates so that might factor in! And we don't know Alear's Bio Mother's Dragon Tribe! but while it might be hard to make out, Sombron is likely where Alear got their red hair from as his hair is on the Red Color Spectrum (A Darker red) Veyle might be because she's a child of a Mage Dragon as Zephia also has white hair. I figure Sombron more monsterous traits might have become more pronounced the deeper he grew more of his Fell Dragon Abilities sort of like how Voldemort only started looking the way he did the more he split his soul into pieces to sho. Veyle likely avoided this because it didn't seem long since Zephia and Sombron started using the spell that created the Evil varient in her personality for that version to start showing signs! Or maybe it's the Mage Dragon Blood that causes it (as I have to take into mind the Bad ending implies another 1000 years or so might have passed when Alear lost as Veyle looks much older looking. It took 1000 years for Lumera to put a large amount of her essence into Alear while they were comatose so it likely took longer for Sombron to purge it, likely made easier because Alear Fell Dragon Heritage was still there, only purged AFTER Victory in the Main Ending) I really can't tell what species of mother the twins had since Zelestia made it clear Sombron wiped the entire tribe out when they refused to bow to him. But then as a theory I also have, who's to say he didn't keep the females for breeding and Zelestia narrowly avoided the same fate because of her weaker power (I have a fridge theory that Alear's mother was a Divine Dragon, Note that Evil Veyle never invocates the Rings like Alear does! Griss knowing this is likely cause he was informed of this AND was paying attention when Sombron did the same when Evil Veyle took the Six Starter Rings! Veyle can turn corpses into Corrupted like Sombron can, But Alear seems to be the only one who can invocate the Rings. But I may be reaching, seeing how disposable his kids were to him! Alear might have noticed Sombron doing it and seeing Lumera might have caused them to try and discover this for themselves just by accident! But that could also be that Alear never was able to sense the Rings till Lumera put her essence into her that allowed her invocations to work! They are still only a Half Divine Dragon Royal, but at the same time also a Half Fell Dragon Royal as well, so the two likely jumpstarted the ability to sense and awaken the Rings, but needs to Invocations to power up the awakening! The divine part is what keeps the Rings from being just awaken to be controlled, likely why the Bond Level's are always starting at Level 1, it's not that the Ring/Bracelet Emblems don't like a character, it's because they need to build up that power, compared to Fell Invocation only where the wielder CAN forcefully get the Sync Skills and Engage Weapons through sheer will....refering to the later Revival Stones when everytime you Zero HP a Emblem wielding boss, they indicate force to get more power and heal themselves. Mauvier apologizes to Micaiah when he does this to her, meaning he's aware that this harms the Emblem, so the others know as well, unlike him they don't care! Evil Veyle seems to take pleasure in hurting Emblem Marth this way likely because she's in view of Alear! @Iamnobody A Reminder that Veyle is Alear's HALF sibling! I doubt Alt Sombron didn't do the same and have a Harem of Mates as well! Likely with Lesser Female Fell Dragons hence the "Twins" thing!

I don't think Sombron would willingly TEACH his kids the invocations or maybe Fell Children are not strong enough to do so being Young, and as I said before Lumera essences BOOSTED Alear own ability that the invocations gave a boost, though Lumera concern may indicate I'm wrong and Alear DID have the power to do so in the past, but could only invocate like their father (where the Emblem is red and untalkative)
@Iamnobody That all becomes irrelevent once you remember the twist of the side story was EVERYONE but the four winds and the twins in the reverse world were all dead!
