Mam actually, when the thyristor is in forwarding bias, voltage drop doesn't happen and if it is in the reverse bias the whole voltage drops so the voltage across the thyristor graph, should be reverse I guess mam, Please can you explain?
When T is forward biased it act as closed switch thus it act as a short circuit so no voltage drop occurs but when T is reverse biased it act as an open switch so the whole applied voltage can be found on T
In variable AC voltage we can vary the output voltage waveform by controlling the on and off time of switches. In case of fixed AC we can't control the output voltage
In case of symmetrical waves like sinusoidal voltage or current, the average value over one cycle is zero. It is because the positive half cycle is exactly equal to the negative half cycle. But the average value of positive or negative half cycle is not zero. Therefore, in case of symmetrical waves, the average value is calculated for half cycle.
Thanks ma'am......small correction at 12:50 it's π- Alpha
Mam really super ur teaching is it is very useful for my current semester examss
very clear explanation mam...excellent.
Makasih kak, berguna sekali materinya, mama ku pasti bangga karna udah nonton
what about input current, input power, are those same as output???
very clear explanation mam
Nice... Mam.....🙂
Thank you mam...for the simple and clear explanations...
Mem your voice so cute 🥰😁
Clear concept mam...
thanks
clarity 💯
oh yeah
u too here😂

Why didn't you take π+alpha to 2π+alpha for solving average output voltage and Vrms?
Why we have a power factor instead of resistive load?
Isn't in single phase full wave ac to ac controller the avg output voltage is zero 0??
Mam in power expression it is π-alpha
You forgot the Vm^2 in P
Best explanation
Thank you madam

THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!
Mam is voltage controller and voltage regulator are same
Last PF = 1/√π alle....?
Just 1/π allalo...?
What if load is 5hp motor? How to calculate power factor?
Why is alpha taken as 90 degrees ??
u can take any angle for instance she took 90 deg
ma'am what is the main difference between fixed 1-phase A.C voltage and variable A.C voltage
In variable AC voltage we can vary the output voltage waveform by controlling the on and off time of switches. In case of fixed AC we can't control the output voltage
Why it is taken as 1÷π
Instead of taking 1÷2π.. please reply ma'am ☹️
