@Vinay Desai yeah it has a sacred and honoured place in hindu mythology, it is believed that it's played by the hindu goddess of music, Saraswati.. but I don't think any instruments are assigned to a particular religion, a lot of Muslims, Buddhists, sikhs and some Christians love and play this instrument as well! 😃💜🙏🏾
I find the sounds of Veena and flute more soothing than any other acoustic music..... The world should be grateful to South India or Dravidian land for giving so many great things to the world. Veena is just one of them.
@Chirag Patel R u kidding me. What is your culture? Copied from Dravidians like Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism Do your homework. You guys migrated from Persia. Google it if you don't know
First of all, Indian classical music is incredible, be it from South or North (incl Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Sri Lanka). The whole subcontinent has made a strong effort to protect it and our culture. Second of all, you need to read up on Indian genetics - we all share nearly identical DNA and are uniquely Indian no matter where you're from. Sure there is a tiny bit of variance from outside populations, but it's all largely the same admixture. Be proud of OUR origins =) P.S. I'm Telugu www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC5787057/
@@preetikushwa7032 North Indians Stop living in your LA LA Land. Do your homework before commenting. Ms. Semi literate we all know how you guys clear examination copy/paste or mug up resulting in pathetic graduates. It is a Dravidian temple not Indian. India never existed before Independence it was South India or Dravidian land. Sanskrit means pure form of a language. That language is Tamil. Sanskrit, Hinduism, Budhism, Jainism came from Dravidian land or South India. North Indians their forefathers migrated from Persia many centuries ago. Got fascinated with Hinduism created by Dravidians (SOUTH INDIANS) and embraced it. Now cut to many centuries down the line they are preaching the Dravidians what is Hinduism. LOL They may call themselves real inhabitants of Indian subcontinent however cannot change their traits like below 1 - Persians see moon during EID. North Indians see moon during Karwa chuwth. 2 - Persia's national game was Polo they brought it to North India 3 - Persian women wear burqa or niqab. North Indian women cover their face with Saree they call Ghoonghat 4 - Dalph in persian or Dapli in Hindi the musical drum instrument was brought from Persia 5 - Surnames or last names like Shah, Irani, Rana, Ghafoor become Kapoor are persian 6 - Persians give too much importance to the religion. We could say North Indians have the same trait. 7 - Persians banned consumption of pigs. North Indians banned consumption of beef 8 - They like Ghazals and Shayari. Nevertheless if you still say North Indians didn't migrate from Persia then go back to a good School. Indeed India is a union not a nation..... Satyameva Jayate......

Veena is an instrument of not only India but also Sri Lanka and Bangladesh! People of all these nation love this beautiful Instrument!
mesmerized by this...hats off bro..keep it up....
Best music i have ever listen, superb mind-blowing out of the world।
I find the sounds of Veena and flute more soothing than any other acoustic music.....
The world should be grateful to South India or Dravidian land for giving so many great things to the world. Veena is just one of them.
@Chirag Patel R u kidding me.
What is your culture? Copied from Dravidians like Hinduism, Buddhism and Jainism
Do your homework.
I'm Telugu

@Chirag Patel could not have put it better ! So thankful to North for that !!

North Indians Stop living in your LA LA Land.
LOL
They may call themselves real inhabitants of Indian subcontinent however cannot change their traits like below
1 - Persians see moon during EID. North Indians see moon during Karwa chuwth.
2 - Persia's national game was Polo they brought it to North India
3 - Persian women wear burqa or niqab. North Indian women cover their face with Saree they call Ghoonghat
4 - Dalph in persian or Dapli in Hindi the musical drum instrument was brought from Persia
5 - Surnames or last names like Shah, Irani, Rana, Ghafoor become Kapoor are persian
6 - Persians give too much importance to the religion. We could say North Indians have the same trait.
7 - Persians banned consumption of pigs. North Indians banned consumption of beef
8 - They like Ghazals and Shayari.
Nevertheless if you still say North Indians didn't migrate from Persia then go back to a good School.
Indeed India is a union not a nation.....
Satyameva Jayate......
All I can say is, "Thanks so much for this video!" Your proud neighbor from India!
